Updated on November 7, 2011
Dr. Conrad Murray
Dr. Conrad Murray | Source

Conrad Murray has been found GUILTY of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson, I think he will be ordered to serve 4 years in prison and lose his medical license.

This is huge because it affects so many people.

Conrad Murrays

  • Family
  • Friends
  • Patients

I am happy for Michael Jacksons

  • Family
  • Friends
  • Business partners
  • Fans

I am sick of the media talking bad about Michael Jackson

I don't care if Michael was hooked on pain medicine etc, he is dead and did more good in this evil worlld than he did bad.

Michael Jackson was

  • Hero
  • Music Icon
  • Changed music forever
  • Helped others
  • Was wrongfully accused of inappropriate conduct with children
  • Harrassed by the media
  • will never be forgotten

As for Dr. Murray he is now a felon and I wish him the best, I know everyone makes mistakes in life and maybe something good will come out of this horrible event.

Until next time

I think the doctor could have seen this coming, and any doctor that was in his shoes probably could have also. It was a paid job, I think a little bit of greed snuck in there also, because what Michael Jackson wanted was just so risky. It was going to kill him no matter what. There is a reason that you don't do what he wanted done. This doctor weighed the odds, and took a huge risk, and is paying big time now. You have to look at all the facts, and be wise or not. There is so much more that could be said, and so many finer details to comb through. I just care that he got a fair trial or not. What is fair is fair, he made his decisions, as did Michael, and so would have another doctor very likely.

@jandee - I am not biased, I watched the entire case on TruTV, I am a MJ fan but I think Dr.Murray got a break - I mean he may not even do any time in jail and he is responsible for someones death, if there is any bias - it is you.

@Will - No offense taken but I think he just liked kids and there isn't any laws against that, if I thought for a second he was a child molester I wouldn't be able to satnd him but if you had really read the allegations and the people who testified for him maybe you would have a different perspective - I think I will write a whole hub on it.

@onugibus - I think that Dr. Murray got a break that he didn't get convicted of capital murder, I mean who gives a patient diprivan without the proper ventillation and eqquipment, I do agree that the world will surely miss MJ

@Lorne - Good point - he did make some istakes himmself

@Mindy - I think he did have a problem but I really think that Dr. Murray caught a break when they didn't prosecute him for murder, you can't give people Propofol without the proper equipment, it is just SAD anyway you look at it, I really believe that the Casey Anthony trial affected the prosecution in this case I may be wrong.

Thanks for all the comments - I truly appreciate the feedback - GodBless

Hey hang on !You're completely biased, you are an M.J fan.

I haven't got any feelings for either but have a tiny suspicion that the Doc. got a bad deal.

I'm with Suzette. I do think both parties are equally responsible. Murray got caught up in the "high" of money, which in turn is about power. His medical license deserves to be taken away from him. There wasn't one part of his actions, which were considered, "ethical." And, Michael wasn't on trial. Unfortunately, because the doctor didn't send him off for substance abuse/ rehab again, demonstrates another reason for Conrad to be found guilty.

The only thing I know for sure is that, Michael Jackson could not handle the pressure of his fame. He was ONE person (not a band) with so many people depending on him every day. Helluva responsibility! I do not condone his behaviour, but I understand it. He was an immense talent, that like Elvis, could not cope. May he rest in peace.

Dr.Murray did not set out to kill Michael Jackson. According to testimonies however, he did not pay adequate attention to his celebrated client. It is unfortunate, but someone has to pay for denying the world such a major source of entertainment, particularly now that happiness is in a short supply in the face of global financial and economic hopelessness.

"Michael was never convicted of anything in court..."

True, and neither was OJ Simpson or Casey Anthony, but I suspect that like Jackson, they too got away with a crime.

    Just my opinion.

@WillStarr - Michael was never convicted of anything in court so I don't think he got a pass, I think people tried to take advantage of him to get money.

@MsDora - I think it is sad that Conrad Murray may not even spend a day in jail. no justice there.

    @Suzzette - Indeed it does

I may not have the popular opinion, but Michael Jackson is as responsible for his own death as Conrad Murray. In other words, both of them are responsible. Michael Jackson is responsible for whatever he put in his body or instructed anyone to put in his body. Conrad Murray should have had the sense to walk away from this horrible situation before injecting Jackson; but greed makes people do crazy things.

I share your view that it is futile to talk badly about Michael. It is more than enough that he got a fatal raw deal. Wishing Dr. Murray the best? He already had the best; too bad the contract was not signed.

There were several incidents of kids accusing Michael Jackson of sexual misconduct. He almost certainly got a pass.
