Dirty dancing

Updated on February 14, 2012

What a great way to spend an evening after getting off of work. Just being able to sit down relax watching a movie that you really like. I really like to watch Dirty Dancing, with Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey because it really helps me relax after a hard days work. I really enjoy the story plot and how it was filmed.

Who would of thought that a movie like Dirty Dancing, that didn't seem that would make it when it first came out, be a favorite of so many people. I know that it became one of my favorites when I saw it with a friend a long time ago and ever since then I wanted to get it so I could watch it how many times that I wanted.

The plot of the story of how a young lady falls in love with dance teacher in a summer camp seems very romantic and how their love starts to show after he teaches her how to dance. The romance and little drama that it has makes it a good movie to watch and remember. Patrick Swayze did a good job on his part, he really helped make it a successful movie. He was also a great dancer in the movie, who would of loved to dance with him. He has always been memorable in all of his movies but I myself remember him for this movie.

What can be said about Jennifer Grey, her acting was also good on her part. Imagine that scene when she was in the river with Patrick Swayze, I remember in an interview that she said that the water was cold because it was shot between the fall and winter. But her acting was very well worth watching in the movie.

The whole cast of that movie was great and did a job well done. This movie is great to watch and even though they may do a remake of this movie, I say that nothing will ever take the place of the first Dirty Dancing movie with Patrick Swayze.

I tend to agree with on the remake, but it is hard to stop them from making remakes...:(

Dirty Dancing was the defining movie of my teenage years. I was in band, and despite what anyone says about band geeks, we really got into the Dirty Dancing trend on the band bus. Ahhh.. Great memories. Great hub.

I'm a big fan of Dirty Dancing and I would not support a remake no matter who stars in it. Footloose was a fail, a remake of DD would fail also. In my opinion:)
