Faces of the Fearless
In Fearless Pursuit
The common thread among those who achieve the pinnacle of success is the unique ability to face their fears with an unrelenting tenacity.
Fear for them becomes the fuel that makes them work harder than the next man.
It's difficult to understand the kind of relentless pursuit for success those who are at the top of their profession possess.
How can you not be inspired by Michael Jordan and how he overcame being cut from his High School Basketball Team.
Can you imagine the strength needed to overcome the temptation of giving up and calling it quits.
Instead, he faced rejection head on and used fear as a motivating factor to catapult him into his destiny.
Michael Jordan is featured 1st in "Face of the Fearless".
He was driven by his fierce desire to accomplish his dreams and to overcome those early stages of rejection in his life.
Although it would have been easy to make excuses and succumb to the pressure to give up, Mr. Jordan pressed to become a six-time NBA Champion, (1991-93, 1996-98); NBA MVP (1988, '91, '92, '96, '98); Defensive Player of the Year (1988); Rookie of the Year (1985) along with a host of other honors.
Of course this kind of success does not come overnight, nor does it come without hard work and perseverance.
Turning Rejection to Triumph
Perhaps you think the story should end here but in order to give you a fair sense of what it takes to turn rejection into triumph, you must understand the psychological warfare that must ensue.
Rejection does not heal nicely. It's not a band-aid approach to developing the confidence to get back up again after being knocked down.
Often you are the first to come and the last to leave. And guess what, along the way you fail again, but it doesn't matter; because there is this fire inside that never allows you to quit.
If you take an in-depth look into the Mind of Micheal Jordan and his unrelenting tenacity to succeed, you will discover it is a mindset that very few possess.
This is my 1st in a series of unique individuals; I Call, "The Faces of the Fearless".
In order to Realize your Dreams, you must be willing to Face your Fears. This is how Champions are made. Now we can find plenty examples of those who have chosen to succumb to fear and in each case you will find one common denominator; "Shattered Dreams".
Every one of us have a decision to make and our lives become the result of that choice. Will you chose to Face Your Fears and Realize your Dreams or Give Up because it is too hard. Ultimately, the choice is yours.
