Favorite Movies

Updated on January 4, 2012

Movies, movies, can so many movies be made? It is amazing the many ideas that directors can come up with. They either use their own ideas or most of the time pick a book to base a movie on. There are so many movies out now that it is hard to choose which one to watch when you go to the movies. Unless one has a certain type of genre that you like to watch. There are so many genres, horror, sci-fi, drama, comedy, name it.
We all have our favorite movies, I know I have my favorite movies. I will name like two or three because out of all the movies I have watched there are so many. One of my most favorite movies is Dirty Dancing because the plot of it and what it is about makes me really like it. The movie has been around a long time but it is still one of my favorites. My other favorite movie is 27 dresses that was such a good movie.
I can say that there are times that a good horror movie will make me jump but I enjoy a good horror movie or two. I am not always to picky when it comes to movies, but to me what matters the most is what the movie is about.
I don't know about you but with all these movies coming out, it is hard to see which is the best, unless one is basing it on the actors in it. To those of you who like movies, do you have any favorite movies? Do you base it on genre or who acts in it?

I love all types of movies, but my favourites are true life, as i feel i can relate to them more. I dont tend to watch movies because a certain actor is in it, i watch ones that has a interesting storyline. Interesting Hub and Voted up :)

My favorite movie of all time is "West Side Story." I've seen it 100s of times, as well as the play dozens of times. I don't know why it's my favorite - it just is. Tied for second place is "My Fair Lady" starring Audrey Hepburn and "Shaun of the Dead" starring Simon Pegg. Obviously completely different genres. But those three films are the ones that, should I only be allowed to own 3 for the rest of my life, I'd be quite happy to have them.
