Fergie Is The Most Versatile and Powerful Singer in the Music Industry, but she is Underrated - For Fergie Fans

Fergie Should Also Sing For More Rock Stars
I have to admit that I was not all that much of a Fergie fan and although the Black Eyed Peas are one of the most talented pop groups today, I was not much of a fan, but this new album The Beginning showed me just talented they really are.
Some of Fergie's solo albums do not really showcase her excellent vocal ability until I heard Dangerous Beautiful from the new Slash album. Fergie has proven on this song that she has as much vocal talent as rock divas with strong voices including Pat Benetar, Grace Slick from Jefferson Airplane, Lita Ford, Joan Jett, etc.
Now, if you listen to Dangerous Beautiful from the new solo album by Slash, you will hear how powerful Fergie really is. The question is "Is she wasting her time doing the dance music?". I am not sure, but I know she can succeed if someone composed some real rock songs for her to sing, maybe even some hard rock songs.
Even if you are not a Slash fan or any of the bands he performed in including Guns and Roses, Slash's Snake Pit, or Velvet Revolver, you really do need to check Fergie out in this song. From an interview with Fergie, I understand she is great friends with Slash and if you watched the 2010 Super Bowl, Slash played guitar for the Black Eyed Peas as well.

What do you think?
I would simply love to see her do more rock songs for more rock bands. She would be great.
Some of the female vocalists I'd like to see Fergie compare to:
- Pat Benetar
- Joan Jett and any of the women in the Runaways
- Deborah Harry from Blondie
- Amy Lee from Evanescence
- Melissa Etheredge
- Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac
- Gwen Stefani from No Doubt
- Shirley Manson from Garbage
When I hear songs from Fergie like London Bridge, Big Girls Don't Cry, and Glamorous, I am not sure how much they show her vocal ability. The song Big Girls Don't Cry to me is her most powerful song of her solo career and I understand she has other big lists like Losing My Ground, Fergalicious, and Clumsy, but I really want to her her perform more rock songs.
