Hi calculus-geometry, I have to admit I was not familiar with Kristen Wiig's impersonation of Suze Orman, I looked it up and it's pretty hilarious and well done. Glad you ended up reading my hub anyway, and you even found it interesting. Thanks! :)

Interesting article. Every time I see Suze Orman all I can think about is Kristen Wiig's SNL impersonation of her. I have to admit, I clicked on this article because I though the lead photo was Wiig dressed like Orman.

Suze has such a strong personality, and she's so direct and sometimes "short" when she answers questions, that I would not be surprise if many people kinda hate her, but the bottom line is that being amazingly focused on the positive results, and not liking shenanigans, she gives very sound advice.

peachpower, I'm not sure about her paycheck from Capital One, but I would think credit card companies make money from people interests and fees, which you don't get charged if you pay off your balance. I'm not seeing the predatory aspect, but maybe I did not fully understand what you mean.

Carol, I have seen some videos in which she talks about unemployment, most things she said were on mistakes to avoid while being unemployed, like getting further into debt, applying for a student loan, etc.

Thanks bot for reading and taking the time to leave a comment. :)

she is one popular lady. And she does have some good advice. I hope she has adjusted some of her thinking and words to the many people out of work and in trouble. You did a great job on this hub and it is an UP.

I like your quotes, but I can't say I like her, personally. Isn't Capital One her biggest paycheck? Of COURSE she's going to tell people to pay their credit card debt! I think that's a little unfair, possibly bordering on predatory. Millions of people look up to her...
