Froggy's Top Ten Christian Music Artists

Updated on March 3, 2017

These are all people that pass the love of God through their music.

I have many, many Christian artists that I like. I will put my top ten in this hub. They are in no particular order.

Scroll down and check out Froggy's top ten Christian musicians.

#1 Casting Crowns

I am just moved every time I hear this band. They are relatively new to the Christian music scene compared to some of the other artists here, but God has blessed them! Have a listen.

#2 Michael W. Smith

He has been in the Christian music business for a very long time. God has blessed Michael with music.

I have listened to him a very long time and will keep doing so. Have a listen.

#3 Steven Curtis Chapman

This man and his wife have been blessed and blessed. My prayers are with them as they lost their small child to a horrible accident.

The Chapman's have done a lot for many hurting people. They show the love of Christ through their lives daily.

#4 Ray Boltz

Here is a man that has been around a long time. I have bought many of his tapes. Much of Ray's music has moved me to tears.

God Bless you Ray and Thank You for giving to the Lord; I am a life that was changed!

#5 Amy Grant

Amy has been around Christian music a long time too!

She has been blessed with a beautiful personality and voice to go with it.

#6 Petra

More into a rock style of Christian music, this band has turned many young lives to Christ.

They will have many crowns!

#7 WhiteCross

Here are some more Christian rockers. I met these guys at Lovefest in Milford, Nebraska quite a few years ago.

#10 Stryper

Can't leave these heavy metal Christian rockers out. There music gives Jesus the credit and that is what it's all about. Keep rockin for Jesus!

WOW! There are some oldies but goodies! I didn't start listening to Christian music until about the year 2000 but I have heard of Stryper (loved their song Honestly), Petra and Carman. They are all classic Christian artists. I recently saw Amy Grant in concert and I like her more now than ever before. I have also seen Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman and Casting Crowns. Would love to see Natalie Grant live someday - she is one of my current faves. Anyway, this is a great list of some amazing Christian artists!

You bring out a wide range of musicians that I also enjoyed for a long time. The music then was as diverse in style as the musicians. I get the feeling that the music is much too canned today. Thanks for sharing Froggie.

P.S. I've not been keeping up with the scene. Where's Amy Grant now? Loved her music when I was in high school?
