Funny Faces - Fun Photos

Updated on November 9, 2011

Funny Faces Pictures

It is often good to take a break from writing serious articles or commercially targeted ones what easier way to laugh than at funny faces? This is why I decided to compile some fun pictures which I found on Flickr creative commons which display the most common varieties of funny faces which get pulled by people.

I am not one of those people who can be humorous and entertain my friends by acting or impersonating, I wish I could show my character in this form but friends of my describe me as having a dry wit.

Many you people pull faces on photos when they were out drunk with friends, or at nightclubs where spirits are high. Sometimes people tend to pull faces when they are nervous or insecure about having their picture taken, this is a reaction to disguise how they really feel.

Goofy Pictures

One of the most common funny faces that people pull is the bloated cheeks, it can resemble someone who is trying hold their breathe under water or even someone who's constipated! It is because of these connotations that we like to laugh at it. This face can be achieved by blowing outwards with your mouth shut, squint your eyes and wrinkle your forehead at the same time.

Another common expression made when trying to pull funny faces is the intense stare or popped out eyes, this can be quite creepy but makes people laugh out of nervousness! Eyes are obviously the focal point of a persons face and the first photo in this hub shows a girl crossing her eyes, which can be hard for some people to achieve.

Lastly we have the cheesy grin, this has to be one of the funniest because it also comes across as mischievous and cheeky! When this is couple with raised eyebrows it can look even more naughty but also a little geeky.

Below I have included my favorite Youtube video of a girl who captures the many funny faces that we are all familiar with into one video, these including poking your tongue out, curling your tongue, squashing your nose with your finger and the shocked facial expression.

If you want to see more funny faces from around the world, I have started a blog website where I post the best funny face pictures regularly and they can be voted on via Facebook 'likes' or 'Tweets', it is called Facesparty
