In celebration of its City of Music status, this year’s Fusion Festival will be taking place at Liverpool’s Otterspool Promenade instead of the normal venue at Cofton Park in Birmingham. Quickly becoming one of the defining pop festivals of the summer, Fusion 2015 delivered outstanding performances from acts such as Ed Sheeran, Rudimental, and The Vamps for more than 50,000 music fans.

For 2016, the lineup has become even more impressive, showcasing luminaries such as Derulo, Olly Murs, and Tinie Tempah. This two-day celebration of music will take place on September 3rd and 4th. Now in its fourth year, Fusion even provides a Kopperberg cider forest to showcase some of the brand’s newest brews. You’ll be able to quaff your chosen pint while taking in the sounds of some of the acts listed below.

Saturday September 3rd

  • Jason Derulo
  • Tinie Tempah
  • Labrinth
  • Craig David's TS5
  • Sigala
  • Fleur East
  • Krept & Konan

Sunday September 4th

  • Olly Murs
  • Busted
  • The Vamps
  • Ella Henderson
  • DJ Fresh
  • Jamie Lawson
  • Nathan Sykes
  • Lawson

These are just a few of the acts that will be lighting up the stage at Fusion, so make sure you check out the full line-up to see just what attendees will be experiencing. In fact, this Fusion fest is seeing the launching of a dedicated app, which is packed with features to keep you plugged in and in the know. From VIP backstage footage to exclusive content and cool competitions, there’s plenty to keep you engaged.

If you’ve yet to pick up your pass, make sure you check your postcode. Fusion has set about to bring in as many locals as possible, so anyone with L17, L18 and L19 codes on their billing address will be able to take advantage of a 50% discount on a limited number of General Admission and Gold Circle tickets. We think that going with the Gold Circle is well worth the extra expense; you’ll get right up close with the acts without experiencing the crush in a small fenced off area directly in front of the stage. Only a limited number are available for each day, so better get cracking if you want the best experience possible.

If you appreciate the latest pop tracks and live close to Liverpool, you need to look into attending this year’s Fusion Festival right away.
