Strolling through a garden can inspire the hobbyist photographer to capture the natural beauty of vegetation. There is something very serene about gazing at vibrant flowers and verdant colors of lettuce leaves as a person strolls down a garden path, and photographs are a great way to share the love of gardening with others. Tomatoes and bean stalks are also amazing to photograph in a mountain garden, and it is amusing to watch curious cats scampering around among the shadows of the vegetation. So what garden adventures did I photograph of this tranquil summer day? Come with me to see what my camera lens spotted.

There are many exquisite varieties of plants and flowers you can photograph in a large garden. Just look around and take pictures of the greenery you find inspiring.

Tomatoes, scallions and lettuce growing in the garden will all make delightful ingredients in a delicious salad. Actually, I like to use scallions primarily for cooking, but the vibrant colors of these fruits and vegetables taste and look beautiful in any fresh garden salad. Just think of how much they charge for such a salad at a high end restaurant, and how much money you can save by growing these ingredients in your own garden.

Cats like to sit around in the garden because that is what they do best. Lounging around and looking at plants is very relaxing for a cat.
