A bit about the show...

Gilmore Girls ended in 2007 after 7 seasons, leaving many fans sad and upset. But they weren't sad for long, as most of their favorite characters from the show have gone on to become quite popular and have been involved in other projects. The cast even came back in 2016 for Netflix's 'Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life'.

Lauren Graham

Lauren Graham, who played mom, Lorelai, on Gilmore Girls, joined the hit NBC series, Parenthood. She played a similar character to Lorelai -- a single mom raising her kids on her own and quickly becoming more and more successful. On Parenthood, she played mom, Sarah, who has 2 teenagers, Amber and Drew. Between Gilmore Girls and Parenthood, she's also been in several movies, including Evan Almighty and It's Kind of a Funny Story. She was also in "A Merry Friggin' Christmas," where she starred alongside Joel McHale and Robin Williams. Two of her most recent films include Max and Joshy.

In 2020, Graham joined the cast of Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist. She played Zoey's boss and mentor, Joan. You can hear her sing, as Zoey's character hears people's innermost thoughts through song. Your kiddos can hear her on Disney's Vampirina, where she voices the mom. Lauren's most recent project sees her as mom and hockey coach in the Disney+ revival series, Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.

Alexis Bledel is probably best known for her role as Rory on Gilmore Girls, but she's been in several movies before and after the show. Before the show, she was in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Sin City, Tuck Everlasting, I'm Reed Fish, among others. Since the show, she's been in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, Post Grad, The Conspirator, The Kate Logan Affair, Violet & Daisy, The Brass Teapot, and Remembering Sunday, among others. She also appeared in the movie Parts Per Billion, as well as a few episodes of Mad Men. Bledel was supposed to be in a show set to air in the spring of 2013, called Us & Them. Her love interest on the show was Jason Ritter, who was actually Lauren Graham's love interest on her show, Parenthood. However, the show fell through and was never aired.

She quickly became just as well-known for her role of Emily on the popular Hulu show, The Handmaid's Tale, but she departed the series before season 5 aired due to her divorce she was going through from former husband and Mad Men co-star, Vincent Kartheiser.

There is talk of a Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 3 coming, but we'll see if it comes to fruition. Otherwise, Alexis is currently busy raising her son.
