"Hips Don't Lie"

Hips Don't Lie is the second most popular song since 1999. It is performed by Colombian singer Shakira and Jamacian Wyclef Jean. It's a makeover of Jean's 2004 song Dance Like this. Hips Don't Lie is a blend of salsa and Colombian cumbia. Shakira has won two Grammy awards, seven Latin Grammy awards and twelve Billboard Latin Music awards. She is the highest selling Colombian singing artist of all time and second to Gloria Estefan the highest Latin artist of all time. In 1995 Shakira founded a foundation which provides special schools for poor Colombian children. She seems to have her feet on the ground a bit more solidly than several young Hollywood entertainers whose come to mind.

LOL that's what I needed. I love Shakira's music, full of rythm. I hope I look more like the first one rather than the second one doing the "hips don't lie"

Yes, I love the dark hair and eyes and olive skin.  Little known fact, my whole family, except for me looks that way.  Both my sisters, my brother, my mom and dad were olive (well my dad was black hair, fair skin) with dark hair and brown eyes.  I was born blonde and blue and switched as I age to light brown and green eyes.  I was always terribly jealous and felt quite left out.

Dark hair and eyes are still exceptionally stunning to me.

Colombian women are often quite beautiful.

I was kind of heart-broken when they pulled the real Shakira video, the MTV version.  That was originally put up on YouTube and allowed as "promotional" and even had Promotional written across it which didn't bother me.  I actually collect those in obscure film.  My S.F.W. vid was a promo and my Alice Cooper's "From the Inside" album is a promo.

I don't live in an area where I can scour used book stores for those type of things anymore, but I wish I did.

Anyway, I guess when it really took off, they removed the promo.  Man, Shakira is outstandingly beautiful.  Every single thing about her from her face to body and you can't top her as a dancer.  All that muscle and tone, hard to beat that.  But the real genius in that vid was the choreography.  It was outstanding.  That video mesmerized me.
