Horror Movie Reviews Triangle

Updated on March 1, 2014

Triangle

Triangle was a unique film in that it was an original idea for a film and it was quite spooky too, although not a traditional horror sense were there is a psychopathic nut job on the loose which is a movie cliche in a cliche, but this movie was enough to make me feel good about some films that get released lately. It restored my faith for some movie directors who have original ideas to present to us movie goers.

First of all the story starts rather with a mother called Jesse who is consoling her little boy after a seemingly apparent bad dream, the events progress slowly to involve you into the world of Jesse's and trying to deal with an autistic son, then you see Jesse's packing a large bag and putting it into the car, the next minute the camera cuts to a group of people boarding a boat and then Jesse's arrives strangely without her son and she is acting really weird or tired at the same time which sort of makes you think what happened to her son?

Later the group have set sail on their small yacht for a trip on the sea, but like anything this is cut short by a strange cloudy storm that suddenly appears in the sky, curiously the name of the yacht is Triangle, but I got a feeling that they hit the real Bermuda Triangle as the next minute the yacht over turns and they lose one of their group members. Whilst they sit on the top of the upturned yacht a big cruise ship comes out of nowhere and so they board the ship which looks deserted.

This is when all manner of stangeness happens as the central character Jesse sees one of the group members with a big hole in the back of his head and then all the survivors get shot and killed right in front of her and then  she gets chased by whoever it is, but as the film goes along you can work it all out and I've got to tell you that the way it was all put together was really good and how they managed to make the beginning of the film and the end make sense.

There was a movie trailer I found on YouTube, but do be warned as it gives away most of the movies story, so if you like to be watching a movie without knowing half of the story like I did, then I recommend you don't watch the trailer and buy the DVD below....
