This is how to harmonize with yourself:

Best Free Recording Software - Audacity Open Source Software

Download the free software called Audacity.  The link is below.  Audacity is an awesome, open source software program that includes most features found in expensive audio software.

How to Harmonize With Yourself Using Your Computer

Plug your headphones or ear buds into the jack for that purpose.  Also plug in your microphone into the correct jack on your computer.

Go to sounds and devices in the windows control panel.  In the audio tab, go to sound recording and click the volume button.  This should take you to the windows mixer.  Find stereo mix and check the mute button.  If you can't find stereo mix, look for wav out and check the mute button there.  Now close the windows mixer.

Next open the Audacity software.  Click the preferences window.  Check the box that reads "play other tracks while recording new one".  Click OK.

With Audacity open, start recording by pressing the red button.  You should see an audio track.  Sing your heart out using your microphone.  Press the yellow button when you're finished.

Now start the song over by clicking on the purple arrows that point left.  Simply repeat by pressing the red record button again.  Sing harmony and press the yellow button when you're done. Do this as many times as you want.  You can sing all the harmonies and more!

Now Harmonize With Yourself and Sing Harmony to All Your Favorite Songs!

You're done. You just learned how to harmonize with yourself for free.  Now you can sing harmony with yourself and record it on your computer whenever you want!  Have fun singing harmony with yourself.  Record an entire album of just you singing harmony to your favorite songs!
