In Glorious Black and White . . . or Sepia: Classic Hollywood Portraits
My Dad’s cousin collected autographed pictures of movie stars when she was a little girl. She eventually grew out of her enthusiasm for this hobby and gave her collection to my sister, who was not a big movie fan. As the family historian, movie buff, and “photophile” that I am, it was only a matter of time before I would run into this treasure. What a treat it was to see the classic pictures of Shirley Temple and Ginger Rogers and my favorite dancer, Gene Kelly. My sister placed the photo album into my care. I have cherished it for years and I am now sharing it with any classic movie fan who cares to see it.

- Buster Keaton: Defying Gravity
I’m nuts about Buster Keaton. I like Charlie Chaplin, but I’m nuts about Keaton. We classic movie buffs tend to like one better than the other, though there’s room for both of them in Hollywood’s annals.
