India is a land of beauty. It is seen abundantly in her people and environment.As celebrities are always in news,their beauty is popular than others. This is more true in case of Film stars.

Today there are beautiful Film stars in India and they are world famous-like-Aishwarya Rai, Kareena Kapoor, Karishma Kapoor. Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, etc.

But these are just about ten years old to silver screen. What about earlier days? There were many many beauties here since the begining.

Some of them are- Vyjayanthimala, Saira Banu, Mala sinha, Nargis, Babitha, etc.These were celebrated heroines of their hey days.They were extremely talented and beautiful Fashion was not so ‘open’ in those days. They were often good at dance also.

Their movies are remembered even now also for their melodious music, simplicity and respectable charm of those heroines.

      Surely, Meena and Madhubala deserve a place here. I have published another hub entirely devoted to Meena Kumari,For which reason I have not mentioned about her here, to avoid duplication. As I could not get a good picture of MAdhu, i have not explained about her. I shall add her soon.

      How can we forget these beauty queens? They are the ones who thrilled the movie spectators during the 60s and 70s. Actresses like Vyjayanthimala, Madhubala and Hema Malini had made a strong impression in the minds of viewers at that time.
