Indiana Waitress Gets A Surprise Tip
As we all know waitressing requires them to live off tips alone because they get paid server wage, so when guests only give them a buck here and there and can make survival harder for the waitress.
Wednesday, May, 15, CeCe Brown was working at her job, Steak ‘n Shake in Indianapolis. Just like any day she was having trouble with one of her tables, but that did not put a damper on her mood. She still had a bright smile on her face and was very courteous.
She went to check on her other table that had one of her regular customers, Miss Jo. She saw that she left her a fairly large tip and said, “You are really generous.” However, she did not see the entire amount of the tip until a second later and was astonished when she saw the tip read $446. She told Miss Jo that she could not take that much money. Miss Jo insisted that she will take her tip. CeCe didn’t even have enough time to say a thank you before Miss Jo left.
CeCe said this could not come at a better time. Her manager says it makes her feel that there is still good in humanity.
