Inspiring Movies Meant For Writers

An inspiration to write does not always come by seeing the relevant acts, in fact a writer generates ideas mostly from the daily things and usual situations. Here is a list of inspiring movies that talk about various writers and their life situations:

Cast : Michael Douglas, Tobey Maguire, Robert Downey, Jr.

Plot : The film revolves around a college professor (the role played by Michael Douglas), who is dealing with a massive divorce and also having an affair with the chancellor's wife. He also has two students working under him, roles played by Tobey Maguire and Katie Homes. In the mid of all this, he is trying to overcome his writer's block as well.

As the movie progresses, the family helps him to bring back the lost hope and find inspiration once again.

Now, he has to face some serious repercussions for his actions.

Sanderson wants his assistance to complete the job, but the author falls in love with Sanderson's fiance Chenault (Amber Heard), though Chenault pretends that she does not know him.

Plot : After suffering from severe depression and getting divorced from wife, author Mort Rainey, the role played by Johnny Depp moves to his lakeside cabin in search of solitude. A person confronts him, accusing him (Mort) of stealing his story. Mort finds out that both the stories are exactly same except the ending, now he has to find proofs to clean himself from the person's accusations.

He plans to live in Las Vegas and drink till the time of his death. But situations turn Topsy turvy when he meets a girl there and fall in love with her.

After moving to Hollywood, he finds a room in a hotel to live and then, he starts with his job, but problems occur when a bizarre sequence of events starts distracting him making it difficult for him to concentrate on his work.

These are just a few names of the movie that relate to the life of writers in their own way. There are many more like these, I preferred to write about those, which I have already watched and thought them to be appropriate for this list.
