Kiera Knightly has always been slender, but some people think she might be too thin. In this hub we discuss Keira Knightly's weight, height, and diet. We also address the possibility of her being anorexic, and determine if she is too skinny.

Height

Keira Knightley is 5' 7". This height makes her look slimmer, because the taller a person is, the more space their weight is spread out over.

Weight

Reputedly, Keira Knightley is slightly over 100 lbs. This would place her in the underweight or "too skinny" category. The photos on this page reflect a slightly underweight appearance. However, in the YouTube video at the bottom of the page, she looks normal.

Too Thin Does Not Always Equal Anorexia

There is more to being too skinny than having an eating disorder. Keira Knightley can be too thin without actually being anorexic. If a woman is naturally slender and not a big eater to begin with, there are a lot of reasons why her weight could drop.

Especially if a person is stressed, depressed, or has a hectic schedule, they might lose their appetite or even forget to eat. This is the case with many women in Hollywood because their lives are so full of filming, practicing lines, photo shoots, and interviews.

Gaunt Appearance? (above)

People often point out that Keira's face looks gaunt, and that this look comes with being anorexic, but we have to remember that she has high cheekbones, which make her face look angular.

Keira Addresses Anorexia Rumors

Keira appeared on the November 2012 cover of Allure magazine. In response to questions whether she has ever been anorexic she responded that she is naturally thin, and that the rumors are hurtful because it makes her feel that she somehow does not look right the way she is.

Diet

Reputedly, Keira Knightley's diet does not have any regular pattern. She can eat the way she wants and doesn't gain weight due to a high metabolism. In addition she doesn't have a big appetite.

Women who have Keira's metabolism can often eat cheeseburgers, french fries, cake, ice cream, etc., without putting on weight. Wouldn't we all like to have that problem?

Changes in Appearance

Although the pictures on this page make her appear underweight, in the video below, Keira Knightley appears to be of normal weight with no bones protruding. A little bit of weight fluctuation can be normal for everyone, as long as we take care of our health overall!

Nicole, thanks for your comment. I think she could dress better too. Celebrities sometimes just don't seem to put together the best wardrobe choices!

I don't think she's too thin, it's just her body type is slender and she has a high metabolism. She does dress poorly for her body type though. Many of the dresses she's wearing in this make her look so boney. I do like the designs she just might look better in something else.
