Is Pearl Jam Satanic? Part 1

Many years I have been a Pearl Jam fanatic. The many concerts, albums, t-shirts and the memories are endless. The attentiveness to the details and symbolisms has led me to engulf the creative spirit of this band to an above average connoisseur.

As age brings me to new realizations, many things make me question all that I once held holy. My faith in what I believe in the spiritual world is deep. I do not take what I perceive lightly. Open-minded and willing to bend towards possibilities is always been a part of who I am. To put it simply; I believe there is a force of good and evil in this world and we all have choices that guide us towards those decisions. We live in a world where it seems that most of us garnish our beliefs from a scattered realm of entertainment. With that, we choose to erase ourselves and let the influence of the outside world create who and what we are.

With Pearl Jam, one can find a road through their inner self to recognize parts of ourselves that most main stream territories seize to explore. There is not one aspect of this medium (sports, politics, art, literature, etc.) that does not have a connection to this band. They have help to free the West Memphis 3, encourage votes for Nader, protest the BP oil spill, build houses in other countries, sue Ticketmaster, raise awareness for Crones disease, the list of charitable acts goes on and on. I don't question their awesome involvement in world affairs. I question their real motives and true calling.

This series is created in hopes to present examples and raise questions that have plagued me for a meditative ten years. There are many things you can look up for yourself and bring to the table. Some of the subjects will be including occult symbols in the artwork, the astrology charts of the band members, weird coincidences, questionable conversations and public appearances.

One of the first things that could be shared would be Eddie Vedder's birthday. December 23rd is also Joseph Smith's birthday, he was the founder of Mormonism. Just one day later is the birthday of Nostradamus. In true astrology, this would be considered the cusp period of Sagittarius and Capricorn. Most people born in that time period are prone to being prophets. They may be able see the dark side of humanity and convey in riddles or codes to warn others of the future. Just because someone is a prophet, doesn't mean that it is a positive influence. Through my research I have come to believe that Eddie is a wolf in sheep's clothing. I just have to figure where I should start with in Part two. Any suggestions?

What fellowship hath light with darkness? Pearl Jam is nothing more than the regurgitation of human misery and the product of lost souls. There is nothing enlightening or worthy of emulation.

Right? I agree with you JG Hemlock and FatFreddyCat . I do realize the commonality of most rock bands and the references to Satan and the occult. The reason I am picking Pearl Jam out is that I have been an avid fan and still am. The music IS the truth. My question is just the icing on the rabbit hole. My aim is a slow process of evaluating a variety of aspects through symbolism and meanings of what it may be truly representing. Whether certain things are pointing towards a higher realization or if its a regular blatant fluke. This is meant to be a stepping stone to understanding and well, fun.

What? Many people call many people satanic as well as their music. They called Ozzie that way back when. All he had to do is sing a song about "Mr. Crowely" and the pharisees labeled him a satanist for life. I love the music of Ozzie Osborne and believe it or not he is a Christian. yeah, he sins just like we all sin. Who does not sin throw that stone first. Some actually do pick up the stones and throw. They think they are better than others.

Who cares if people call Pearl Jam evil. If they have the spirit of truth inside them they would know what is satanic and what is not. Pearl Jam? wow
