Itazura na Kiss - Mischievous Kiss (Taiwanese, Korean And Japanese version) Review
Many of us really adore Korean dramas such as The Heirs, My Love From The Star, Marriage Not Dating, Emergency Couple and etc. But before this drama's became popular worldwide, there is a Taiwanese romantic comedy drama that is popularly known in the whole world and that is It Started With A Kiss and They Kiss Again.
Both dramas were based on a Japanese manga. ISWAK was broadcast in Taiwan from September 25, 2005 to February 12, 2006. And it was followed by it's sequel, They Kiss Again which was broadcast from March 26, 2007 to January 19, 2008.
But we have also a Korean version of this drama popularly known as Playful Kiss starring Kim Hyun-joong and Jung So-min. And the latest version is from Japan popularly known as Itazura Na Kiss: Love in Tokyo and Itazura Na Kiss 2: Love in Tokyo.

What fans love about ISWAK and TKA?
Unlike others who said that it is boring to watch ISWAK, for me, it was lively and interesting. Maybe because I watched it eight years ago when it was first aired in the Philippines. That was a very, very long time ago but still I find it exciting and considers it as one of the best Taiwanese drama that I watched in my entire life. Another thing is that this drama is a part of my childhood. And it is part of my high school life.
To begin with, I became a fan of Ariel Lin from the first time I saw her on ISWAK. She is extremely good in acting. The most embarrassing moment of this drama was when Ariel gave a letter to her crush (Joe Cheng) but the guy did not accept it. Well, majority of us, particularly those high school students did it also and was also rejected by their crush. The difference of this drama to others is that it depicts reality, the life of teenagers.
If you watched this drama you will surely enjoy, laugh and cry.
The value of life does not depend on the physical but depends on what we have done in life.— — Zhi Shu/ They Kiss Again
ARJOE Loveteam Fever
Joe Cheng and Ariel Lin has become part of my life. Sometimes I also wished that they become real life couple but that was just a dream for me because Ariel Lin is now happily married. But even if that's what happen, I still continue to admire them as an actor who made my heart beats faster make me laugh and cry. The two of them have chemistry that is why they have so many fans around the world who until now supports them.
And believe it or not, I learned Mandarin Chinese because of them. I learned to sing Mandapop also thanks to them. For some teens today who want to watched a Taiwanese romantic comedy drama, then I highly recommend this to you. If you want to laugh and cry then you should watch ISWAK.

What to expect on "Playful Kiss", the Korean version?
After Boy Over Flowers, Kim Hyun-joong was chosen to play the role of Baek Seung-jo opposite to actress Jung So-min. This time, we will talked about the Korean version of this drama. I am already familiar with Kim Hyun-joong because I've seen him in the drama Boys Over Flower and we can't deny it that he is a good actor. But I am not familiar with the female lead because it was the first I saw her on the drama. Each scene is very funny and will make you laugh until your stomach ache from laughter.
Its not only sweet, charming, entertaining but also depicts a solid family ties and friendship assumes a vital part to our lives. It's awesome and I adore it to the moon and back! This is one of the best Korean drama that I watched. And you will surely relate on the story. But I like more the Taiwanese version especially for the male lead role. But still the Korean version is beautiful and will make you laugh.
The harder it is to achieve a dream, the more meaningful it is to go for it.— — Baek Seung-jo/ Playful Kiss
Kim Hyun Joong and Jung So Min Couple
Love the acting of both Kim Hyun-joong and Jung So min. Absolutely enamored with this series. The cast & group and the music everything is idealize in this series.
Exceptionally well cast. It goes without saying my interest lies in Baek Seung Jo (in light of the fact that I love Kim hyun Joong). He tries so hard not to be attracted to Oh Ha Ni. He says, at a certain point, that he wasn't going to change for her however he lays down with the light on, helps her to study, helps her to cook the tennis group supper. I could imagine them having their two children, a super shrewd young lady that looked like Oh Ha Ni and a boy looking like Baek Seung Jo who is confused. Obviously, for all the flack Baek Seung-jo provided for Oh Ha Ni about being so inept and not having any desire to wed a young lady like her, he ought to wind up with a young lady like her.

What fans love about Itazura Na kiss Love In Tokyo?
This time we will talked about the latest version, Itazura Na Kiss: Love in Tokyo starring Yuki Furukawa and Miki Honoka. When I heard that there is a Japanese version of this drama, I immediately searched online and watched it. But of course out of my curiosity on the cast profiles, I also research on it and found out that Miki is the youngest actress to play lead role in all version. And she is also a fan of Ariel Lin.
I love the cast of this drama. They are so natural in playing their roles. Particularly Kotoko (Miki), the way she portrays Kotoko's character is very natural, maybe because she's at the same age as Kotoko and she has that splendid and sprightly personality herself. Yuki plays exceptionally well, makes us continue on guessing his feelings and what's inside his head.
Overall this is a decent adaption of the manga. I truly admire the plot and the casting. It's the closest adaptation to the manga and the characters were simply great. Yuki Furukawa without a doubt is the ideal Irie Naoki. He filled the role so well. He was able to portray the role of Naoki.
Yuki And Miki As A Couple in Itazura Na Kiss Love In Tokyo
Kotoko was quieter and most important in this version of drama, which I loved. It likewise appeared like she could practically overlook Naoki if Naoki wasn't discretely attempting to keep her in-affection with him as well, which once more, I truly adored. Miki Honoko's acting and outward appearances were super charming as well, and I could never have guessed and believed that she was just 16 in real life.
Actually, I didn't even mind the age gap between the two of them. If I never had a research on their profiles, I will still think that they are about the same age. Yuki Furukawa played the part of Irie Naoki splendidly. I mean he's the ideal fit for Naoki.
One of the things I adore about this adaptation is watching Naoki progressively become hopelessly in love with Kotoko while playing it cool. I thought Yuki Furukawa gave a terrefic performance as the bored, unconcerned, frequently egotistical not-yet-beau. He appeared to catch Irie Naoki's identity impeccably.
