Basics about Jada

Jada Pinkett Smith is best known as being the wife of Will Smith, but she is more than just a wife. Born September 18, 1971, she is a singer, songwriter, actress, businesswoman, wife and mother. She first appeared on the scene in 1990 when she appeared on the show True Colors. Later, she starred in A Different World and she played a starring role opposite of Eddie Murphey in The Nutty Professor.

She married Will Smith in 1997. Since then, the two have had two children: Jaden and Willow, both of which have music and acting careers of their own.

She met Will Smith in 1990 on the set of his hit show The Fresh Prince of Bell-Air. She auditioned for the part of his girlfriend on the show, but she didn't get the role because the producers through she was too short. The two of them quickly became friends, but they did not begin dating until 1995.

Jada said "I will throw my career away before I let it break up our marriage. I made it clear to Will. I'd throw it away completely." about her marriage to Will, showing she is dedicated to the relationship.

Jada is part of the Lupus Foundation of America, spreading the word about lupus.

Plastic Surgery

Over the years, there has been talk about Jada and it isn't even about her career. Instead, people have taken notice that the star has began to look different. This is possibly due to plastic surgery. The biggest difference is an unnatural looking cheek line. It's a drastic change that fans quickly noticed.

A silicon cheek implant could cost up to $6,000. If Jada did have the surgery, as people speculate, it would have cost her a pretty penny, but of course, this is a small price to pay for the wife of Will Smith.

Even so, Jada denies all plastic surgery claims, even if the work she has had done is obvious. She claims that she simply lost "baby fat" and her slender face features are due to a modification in her diet. She says she has increase the amount of high-nutrient, healthy foods, which caused her face to slim down.

Although Jada makes these claims, experts all agree that such a transformation could not be caused by diet alone. Since Jada was thin to begin with, a small weight loss would not result in such a change in her cheekbones. Experts say that the only part of her face than changed were her cheeks. If the change was caused by diet, she would have also slimmed down in other areas, but she has not. The only place that changed are her cheeks.

No matter if she has had plastic surgery or not, there is no denying she is a gorgeous woman, incredible wife and mom and a fantastic actress. Even if the claims are true, the small amount of work she has had done does not change the person she is.
