James Franco and the Invisible Art Museum
Spiderman's Best Friend
For those unfamiliar, James Franco is the actor who played Spiderman’s best friend in Marvel’s Spiderman movie series. He has appeared in other movies as well. Flyboys was another movie in which I enjoyed his acting.
I like James Franco as an actor. As a person, I don’t know too much about him. However, if his newest venture is any representation of his character, he deserves a Grammy.
A Regular Renaissance Man
Mr. Franco has recently revealed his most prolific but hidden talent, he is an artist. He is proficient in every art medium known to man. Oil, watercolor, stained glass, marble and metal sculpture, and more, you name it, he’s the next Renaissance Man. He makes Michael Angelo and Rembrandt look like amateurs. Franco has mastered the craft of invisible art.
Is This A Joke?
I know. I thought it was a joke too when I first read about it. But this is serious and Franco is being completely transparent too. Currently Franco is reproducing invisible items from the invisible movie he recently produced entitled “Red Leaves.”

The Filming of Red Leaves
Franco originally sought to produce Red Leaves in old-school traditional media with actors, props and a budget, but the film quickly became cost prohibitive. To solve the problem, Franco opted to use recent technological advances in invisible media to save on expenses. It worked he made the artistic film for zero dollars.
Thus far Franco’s collection of art work includes the invisible film entitled “Red Leaves,” one can purchase the invisible film for $25, an invisible costume from the film for $50 dollars, and a scultpure for $100.
MONA: the Museum of Non-Visible Art
Franco has recently teamed up with friends and fellow invisible artists Brainard and Delia Carey, the art duo known as Praxis. The invisible trio has recently collaborated the opening of the Museum of Non-Visible Art, (MONA) and yes, the museum too is invisible.

More Great Stuff to Buy!
LIMITED REWARD 198 of 200 remaining
By James Franco - Sculpture- Boat of Captain -- A full-scale steamboat that the Chief lived in, on the river, for the James Franco movie, "Red Leaves." The steamboat was meant to live on and this replica full scale model actually floats, though there is no engine.
Thus far as you can see there are only two copies of the boat left for sale. That’s nearly $20,000 in invisible sales.
Actually, I wouldn’t mind having one of these boats. I could put it in the living room for all my invisible friends to oooo and ahhhh at. I wonder if Franco and friends will accept invisible dollars as payment? Now if we could just get the IRS to accept invisible dollars we’d be set!
I have to say, all kidding aside, having studied the Ideology vs Reality Continuum Theory there is a bit of fun behind all this and if they are raising money for a good cause then what’s the harm? However, I did not see anything that discussed a charity, perhaps its invisible too.
The great thing about art is it inspires people. In fact, I have become inspired. I have just finished my hand at my first piece of invisible art. And, I’ve decided to offer it up for sale. Check it out!
Giant Statue of Obama
Pledge $20,000 or more
By Harlan Colt - Sculpture - Timeless Pick-Pocket-- a Statue of Liberty sized sculpture of Barack Obama with eight arms, each arm picking the pockets of several generations of middle class Americans ( re-classified as “the rich”) from Grandmother, down to great, great, great grandchildren, to redistribute their wealth among the less fortunate and to pay back the 8.6 Trillion dollars of national debt he created in just two short years in office. At his feet are life sized statues of thousands and thousands of people standing in unemployment lines hoping to find a job. If you look up at his rear pants pockets, you will see several local unions and Chicago-based NPO’s safely tucked away for next election. If you take the stairs to the top and look out you can watch the progress of the 25 federal agencies in Obama’s new White House Rural Council enacting UN Agenda 21 to dictate the use and production of every square inch of American farms and rural lands. If you look straight out you will see Nancy Pelosi flying several of her best friends around the world in her tax-payer funded private jet.
"I used real life for inspiration in creating this sculpture. I wanted to capture the President as realistically as possible for all future generations." - Harlan Colt
The detail and precision of this timeless piece is uncanny. Many painstaking hours by candlelight on multi-tiered scaffolding were spent bringing this work for your viewing pleasure. This one of a kind sculpture can be yours for only $20,000.
