Jazz Standards for Solo Guitar: Autumn Leaves

Updated on July 19, 2012

Autumn Leaves for Solo Jazz Guitar by Raun Seymour Cole

Here's yet another one of my jazz standard arrangements for solo fingerstyle guitar: the beautiful "Autumn Leaves". Most of the song is actually quite easy to play, except for a few passages where it was a bit more difficult to accommodate the melody to the chords.

By the way, please take a second to "visit" (a.k.a. click a couple of times) the ads on the site, it gives me a couple of cents each time, so it helps me put more transcriptions and exercises like these up for you to play!!

...enjoy!

R.

**Update April 1st, 2010** (For Real!) I've included suggested fingerings and my own version on video with sheet music karaoke.

Hi really enjoyed learning this. really pushed the learning and tecnnique. But for one thing that baffled me for a while - I think the 3rd to last tab in the mid section ( B flat 9/C ) maybe marked wrong? Ive been playing it with the higher 3 stings up one fret and it sounds like what you are playing.
