Who is Keiko Kitagawa and why is she famous?
Keiko Kitagawa is a Japanese actress and movie star. This is going to be a look at the life and career of this beautiful babe! She is best known for being a supermodel and working for Seventeen Magazine from late in 2003 until the middle of 2006. She gave up modeling when she left that magazine and chose to focus on an acting career. She is now recognized for having one of the most beautiful faces among Japanese celebrities.

Kitagawa was born on August 22, 1986 in Hyogo Prefecture. She grew up in Kobe. The movie industry was not Keiko’s dream when she was a child. She initially wanted to become a doctor. But by the time she reached high school, she was not sure whether she could study that and she became unsure about the future. But at around this time, she was spotted by a talent agency and she decided to enter the entertainment business. But Keiko’s parents opposed her decision at first. They however allowed her to pursue this path if she was not making progress within one year. They wanted her to get an education first. Keiko did get an education, graduating with a degree in commercial science from Meiji University in Tokyo in March 2009.

In January 2016, Kitagawa announced that she had registered her marriage to the celebrity that goes by the name of DAIGO. He is 37 years old and the lead singer for the rock band Breakerz. Kitagawa said that she looks at having a new kind of life as she turns 30 years of age. That seems to be an interesting number in the entertainment world. Keiko’s entry into the industry did not take long at all. Within one week of joining an agency, she was chosen both as a supermodel and actress. She worked as Miss Seventeen for Seventeen Magazine in 2003. That was her first big success. She would later move to the US to study English. She is now fluent in English and in doing so, she joins actress Saki Aibu and pop singer Makoto Ogawa as a few other Japanese celebrities that have studied English in other countries. Keiko is now fluent in English. Keiko’s first acting role came in the Sailor Moon Live action show called Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon in the years 2003 and 2004. She appeared in the American action movie called The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift in 2006. She is also known for her appearance in the movie called Handsome Suit in 2008.
