Kick-ass - A new kind of superhero movie

Updated on April 28, 2010

There's a movie that I'm specially waiting for, and I'm sure that I can be revolution in the superhero movies, just in think that was in the comics.

Kick-Ass is based on the comics, written by Mark Millar and with pencils of John Romita Jr. , I won't to focus in the comics but I really have to say how strong is the story, violent, gore and at same time it can be funny, we'll you can imagine what can of thing happens when a guy with no superpowers decide to be a superhero. Romita's art isn't loved by everyone but surelly disearves respect, specially in action and fighting scenes.

Just like in the comics, the movie shows a teenage fan of comics, Dave Lizewski, that one day wonder why people deserve to be like Paris Hilton or other celebrities instead of be a Hero and Help people, well, is what he decides to do, he buys a diving suit and go to the streets, in the first times he just watch the city over the roof of buildings, in his first heroic attitude he is cruelly beaten and hit by a car, spending a lot of time on recovering, but he don't give up and in his back to crime combat someone films him and broadcast on youtube.and the borns a new phenomenom who inspire more people like RedMist , a rich and good equipped boy, and the young Hit Girl and her Big Daddy.

But being real superheroes, sometime they begun to bring problem to real villains...

The director Matthew Vaughn brought it to the screens, he also writen the screenplay with Jane Goldman, and also produced.

Aaron Johnson plays Dave Lizewski aka Kick-ass in the movie, he seems to have the "nerd" appeal needed for this job. Another heros are Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Chris D'amico/ Red Mist , Chloe Grace Moretz is Mindy Mc ready/Hit Girl (one of the highlights of the comic book) and Nicolas Cage again proving his passion for comics as Damon Mcready/ Big Daddy, remembers a lot Batman although the comics been published by Marvel.

Kick-Ass was released in april, 22 on theaters.
