Kidd Kraddick- The Best Start To Your Work Day

Updated on July 28, 2013

For years I wondered what the hype was regarding morning talk shows. I found them boring, irrelevant and a waste of time before my work day started. The problem was avoiding them. Every morning there was less music and more talk. About a year ago I started a job that required being up super early and I was too lazy to charge my ipod every night. Through default I started listening to the radio. I couldn't pick up NPR and had limited choices. I turned to a local station and heard a unique voice discussing taking terminally ill children on an annual trip to Disney World (later I found out the program was entitled Kidd's Kids.) I'm sure other talk shows participate in charity work, but this conversation caught my attention and I've been listening to Kidd Kraddick In the Morning since.

Radio Personalities

The radio personalities that are currently working with Kidd Kraddick definitely make the show. Of course Kidd Kraddick plays a pivotal role in the program, but there are five other personalities that work daily and provide a hilarious morning show that will surely make your morning bearable.Currently the other radio personalities are:

Kellie Rasberry

Big Al Mack

J-Si

Jenna

Psycho Shanon

The Show

Most morning shows cover news, events and gossip, however, Kidd Kraddick adds humor and personal opinion to the mix. The show is set up to cover these topics, but they use a unique format to do so. The show starts at 6:00 a.m. and wraps up at 10 a.m.(central time). In this four hour span they cover gossip in the Hizziewood Hizzle, discuss events in entertainment with the ShowBiz Top 5, and discuss fashion tips with Jenna's Look Book. The show also has weekly discussions such as New Music Tuesday and Fav 4(each radio personality picks their favorite app of the week). You'll also hear exclusive interviews with all your favorite celebrities!

Why YOU Should Listen

Many of you are probably wondering what makes Kidd Kraddick so different? I have often wondered this myself. Personally, the radio personalities have created unique relationships with their listeners. They discuss their personal lives in great detail, talk about their children, and how they handle hard issues in life. If you join your favorite personalities on facebook or twitter you'll get updates on their everyday lives. If that's not enough, you can actually watch their show live on KiddTV!

I'm sure there are other morning shows that are just as great. I just haven't heard them. What are some of your favorites?

The Death of Kidd Kraddick

On July 27th 2013 Kidd Kraddick suddenly passed away at a charity golf tournament for his Kidd's Kids program. The legacy of Kidd is sure to live on through his co-workers and fans.

I absolutely love this morning show. I had actually never heard of them until 4 years ago, when I started college. I commute about 30 minutes to and from school each day, and these folks make my morning drive much more enjoyable. Usually I end up laughing out loud at some point each morning, and then realize how goofy I must look to other drivers. One semester I had a break early in the day, during the time that KKITM would still be on the air, I would actually go sit in my car just to listen to the show until my next class. Voted up for awesomeness!
