Introduction

"Lagrima" is a beautiful piece of music written for the classical guitar by Francisco Tarrega (1852-1909).  Tarrega was one of the leading gutiarists of the Romantic era.  The word "Lagrima" is Spanish for "tear".  One of the melodies of the piece represents a tear flowing down the cheek of a child.

Tarrega's "Lagrima" played by Per-Olov Kindgren

Ari Lamstein: It is so educational and inspirational to watch a master play a masterful piece of classical or flamenco guitar music. Such moments are among my most prized memories from Spain!

Thank you, and voted up with everything else too,
