The Plot

More than a week ago I went to see Ant-Man at the cinema. I wanted to write about it for a while, but since I have started working offline, in the real world so to speak, it seems like I don't have time for anything online anymore. I am not complaining since I am finally earning real money, which is not pennies by day, but I do miss the time I had to spend online, especially since this is almost all I did for more than two years now.

Anyway, I don't want to go too much off topic, so I will tell you about Ant-Man.

I do have to admit this was another movie I was reluctant to see because I thought it will be a movie for children, but a silly one, not a good one. I love movies for children, but the ones that have good storylines and are done well.

My boyfriend wanted to see this movie so I said I'll go. As I said, I wasn't expecting much out of it, but I was really surprised. Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly were really good in it, and Michael Douglas was no surprise, he is always great. I didn't know Corey Stoll, or at least I don't remember him from anything, but he was really good too. So the cast was thought really good and they completed one another perfectly.

The plot was that Scott Lang, the main character, has to steal a suit made for a man as small as an ant, and he goes through the whole process of getting used to being that small, how to switch from small to normal size and reverse, training and the whole stealing moment itself.

The movie is far from being boring, it is in 3D and I've loved every minute of it, they had really good 3D effects that made me happy to finally see a good movie in this format. It is unexpected, has humor and action and I am pretty sure everyone will leave the theater feeling good they've chosen to see this movie.

To See Or Not To See

I definitely recommend this movie and you won't feel sorry for seeing it. Take a bag of popcorn and sit comfortable. The movie will do the rest.

This movie is fit for adults and children as well. We had a child in the audience, and he was very excited at the action of the movie. Although this is not a kids movie, so don't expect sweet songs and characters holding hands while singing together.

The fight between the two ant-men is priceless. The part that takes place in the house of Scott's child is something that will steal laugh from the audience. The train that looks so scary and when the scene reverses you remember it is just a toy and the moment the ant is enlarged they are really good and funny.

I've especially loved the moment when the police man sees the big ant and he says it is the family's dog. I know it makes no sense what I am saying if you haven't seen the movie, but these are really good moments. This is why you should go see this movie because you will find it really nice and you will enjoy it. I am sure of it.

Let me know if you liked it. I did.
