There are several rumors concerning Wendy Williams and her daytime talk show.
A rumor is that Wendy is afraid of losing her show, according to Page Six. She used to be confident that she is irreplaceable and no one can do what she does. After seeing the success of her replacements, the talk show host is reported to be nervous she may lose her show if she doesn't return soon.
Nick Cannon did so well when he replaced her as host that there is a rumor that Wendy's staff wants him as a permanent replacement.
Even though Cannon had a good time, he is too busy with his own agenda to replace Williams. He had only a three-day assignment because he had to go to Dubai to film a show. He is super busy with his own things. He is gearing up for his own late night show coming up on FOX.
According to Radar Online, talk show host Steve Harvey is a "cutthroat" because he is ready to take advantage of Wendy while she is out on medical leave. Harvey is eyeing her time slot on FOX because NBC is pulling his show to make room for Kelly Clarkson's new show.
Even though Wendy is out sick and taking care of her health, some people believe there is more to the story. They say she is having marital problems that are also taking a toll on her health.
Some time ago, Williams addressed the cheating allegations about her husband Kevin Hunter only once on her show. She made it clear that it was not a topic open for further discussion. It is being claimed that for the past ten years Hunter has been living a double life and fathered a child with Sharina Hudson, a young massage therapist while still married to Wendy.
No one knows if there is validity to any of the rumors. What Wendy watchers know for sure is that she has been absent for a long time, and there is no date when she will return. Even so, the show is in good hands.
