Lifehack! How to open a Jar of Peanut Butter with a Banana!

Updated on August 23, 2016

I think everyone has been at a point in there life where they needed to open a jar of peanut butter. And most of the time this works. Most of the time you can just get it open without any troubles. But now imagine this: You can't get it open...!!!

So you're standing there, with the jar in your hands, and you can't get it open no matter how hard you try. Next to you is a banana, and it's the only thing available cause the rest of the room or place is completely empty.
I think everyone has been in this situation before. And normally you just say "meh" and you eat the banana and throw the peanut butter away. That's what every sane person would do. But what if I told there is something you can do?

Now you'll probably say that only people like Mc.Giver and the guys from the A-team van do stuff like this, but that isn't true! You can do it as well!

It's actually very simple. Watch the video below, and prepare to be baffled!

How to go on with your life after watching this?

Most people will be in shock after watching this video. They never thought it was possible, they threw scores of peanut butter jars away because they couldn't get it open with a banana, and now it turns out that it can be done...

So we know this may be shocking, and we know it may take some time to process all of this. That's why we advice people to visit a doctor after watching, to check your health and mental health, because some people may lose their sanity.

Did this Lifehack help make your life better?

Hi. the principle is the same, but you have to smash the banana all over the lid before you try to screw it of. That should do the trick! ;)

I tried to open a jar of mixed fruit jam using the same principle but it does not work. Can you kindly offer some advice? Many thanks!
