Which MP3 Player Should I Buy?
The Old And New Style Sony Walkman....
What's so great about an MP3 player....
MP3 players have been around for a while now, but I'm still surprised by how many people don't have one. People think they cost a small fortune, but they don't have to.
A good MP3 player needn't cost a lot of money, the price depends on the make, the memory capacity and what they are able to do, some can play music videos and some have a radio, whilst others can do both. I've also seen ones that can store photographs!!
There is a price difference between a brand new MP3 player and a refurbished MP3 player. Refurbished MP3 players are MP3 players that were slightly flawed or faulty and have been returned to the factory to be fixed and are like new again, they are then sold at a much lower price and still come with a guarantee, good companies will always say if the MP3 player has been refurbished. People are often put off buying refurbished MP3 players as they think there could still be problems with them, I've never had a problem with one and I've bought a few for gifts. I would certainly recommend looking into it.
What you can listen to on an MP3 player....
You can select which music tracks you want to listen to by album, artist, year or genre and if you can't decide what you fancy listening to you can always press the shuffle button. These days you pay for and download only the tracks you want to listen to from the internet, so your music collection is tailor made for you, by you. Not only can you listen to your favourite music on your MP3 player, but you can also download podcasts and ebooks to listen to at your leisure. How good is that?....
When they first came out I wasn't interested in getting one. I had always hated the old walkman style machines, which you could play a cassette or CD on. I couldn't see how an MP3 player was any different, but I was so wrong. It didn't take me long to realize just how great they are, gone are the days of having to listen to rubbish tracks that were used to pad out music artists albums and having to spend ages fast forward and rewinding to the beginning of particular track - if you are below a certain age and reading this you probably have no idea what I am referring to. I now find my MP3 player is great for those times when the house is too busy and noisy and I want to escape into my own world just for a little while. Listening to an MP3 player is very stress relieving, you should try it!!
Choosing the right MP3 player for you and your budget...
There is a huge selection of MP3 players to choose from on the market today, so it is wise to do your research, so you buy the one, you or the person you are buying for will really appreciate and use to it's full capacity.
Think about what you are looking for in an MP3 player. Do you want a digital display that scrolls the information of what you are listening to? Must it be able play videos? What size memory are you looking for? What kind of sound quality are you looking for? Do you want a rechargeable battery or are you happy using normal replaceable batteries? Would a clip be a good idea, so you can attach it to your clothes or bag? Is a radio important to you, would you use it?
It's also advisable to do your homework and take the time to read reviews for the MP3 player you want to buy. It pays to do your homework when buying an MP3 player - or anything else for that matter. You don't want to end up disappointed and wishing you'd purchased a different one.

This one my son has and treasures it.
