Margaret Minnicks has been an online writer for many years. She researches and shares remedies for using certain products for illnesses.

The experts matched Ashley Petta and Anthony D'Amico in Season 5 of Married at First Sight that aired on Lifetime. Of the three couples, Ashley and Anthony are the only ones from that season to remain married.

Ashley talked about wanting to start a family as soon as she and Anthony tied the knot after meeting for the first time at the altar. However, Anthony did not initially share her feeling. In fact, some viewers thought Ashley's insistence on having a baby so soon might be a deal breaker for Anthony. He was never against having a family, but he didn't think he they should have a baby right away. He reasoned that they should get to know each other before starting a family. Eventually, Anthony changed his mind, and he and Ashley agreed to start their family.

Ashley's pregnancy was confirmed by People magazine last August. She and Anthony were very excited to share the good news with everyone. They said in a statement that having a baby would make their dreams come true.

Ashley and Anthony welcomed a baby girl on Saturday, January 12 at 3:34 a.m. She was born three weeks earlier than the couple expected. She weighed 4 pounds and,14 ounces. The parents named their daughter Mila Rose D’Amico, according to People magazine.

The 30-year-old new mother told the magazine that she and Anthony, 33, never knew they could love their "little peanut" so much. Ashley said Mila Rose is perfect in every way and holding her for the first time was the most amazing moment of her life. She added that watching Anthony caring for Mila makes her love him even more.

The couple knew they were having a daughter before she was born, but Anthony admitted they didn't have a preference. They just wanted a healthy baby. Now that she has been born, the parents can't wait to show Mila Rose to the world.

Other "Married at First Sight" Babies

Last October, People magazine discovered that Ashley Petta and Anthony D'Amico were not the only Married at First Sight expectant parents. Danielle Bergman and Bobby Dodd from Season 7 were also expecting a daughter later in the year.
