Meghan Markle Attacked By Own Father: 'I Made Her Who She Is Today'

Margaret Minnicks has been an online writer for many years. She researches and shares remedies for using certain products for illnesses.

Thomas Markle, the father of Meghan Markle, is talking badly about his daughter, the new Duchess of Sussex. The 74-year-old disgruntled patriarch said hair-raising things about Meghan in an interview with The Mail from his home in Rosarito, Mexico on Saturday, July 28.

So, what did Thomas Markle say about Meghan?

Thomas Markle's Interview

Thomas Markle's interview with The Mail lasted nine hours over a three-day period. It was his harshest interview to date. Not only did he talk about Meghan, but he also talked about the royal family and what he thought about them. He said he was offended that Queen Elizabeth took time out to see President Donald Trump and won't see him who isn't half as bad.

Markle predicted Meghan will probably have babies within a year, and he will not be able to see his own grandchildren just as he has not been allowed to see or have contact with his daughter.

He said he used to have a telephone number where he could call or text Meghan, but now he has been cut off from communicating with her. He said he was probably cut off after he said some choice words about the royal family. He blames the royals for changing Meghan and turning her against him. He is very upset that he has had no contact with her daughter in ten weeks.

Markle said he is due more respect from Meghan and the other royals because after all, he made his daughter into what she is today. He claims that without his upbringing, she wouldn't be in the palace today. He indicated that he is not recognized or given any thanks for the things he has done for her.

The retired lighting director continued with the attacks and accused Meghan of having a sense of superiority. He gave a list of things he did for her when she was growing up. He said he was making good money then, and he was the one who gave Meghan the best, including sending her to college.

Thomas Markle's Accusations

The former Hollywood lighting director said he has just about reached the limit with the Windsors and his daughter's new status. He said in the interview that the Duchess of Sussex would be nothing today without him. He wants to receive some credit for helping her make it to where she is today.

Markle compared his relationship with Meghan with the relationship she has with Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland. He said she’s a mummy’s girl now, and Doria gets a lot of the credit while he gets none. Thomas should realize that Meghan's mother has not spoken to the media at all.

At times during the long interview, Marke got emotional. He said he wants to contact his daughter on her birthday when she turns 37 on August 4. He believes if he sends a birthday card to Kensington Palace, it would just be one among thousands and she will probably never see it.

Markle concludes that Meghan might be better off if he were to die.

According to Us Weekly, Meghan is upset about the way her father is speaking to the press about her. She wants to communicate with him, but she thinks he will exploit her. It seems as if Markle, 74, is doing just that anyway even without contacting his 36-year-old daughter.

Celebrities Are Speaking Out About Thomas Markle's Behavior

Sharon Osbourne, co-host on The Talk has spoken out about Markle's behavior. She called it appalling and said Markle should stop and let his daughter be happy.

After Markle's recent interview where he claimed to have made Meghan what she is today, model Chrissy Teigen slammed him in a tweet. She said that this guy sucks. The 32-year-old mother of two asks, “What is wrong with him? Then she gave Markle some advice. "Let your daughter be happy, please. This is embarrassing.”

Tim, thanks for your wise advice as usual. Thomas Markle's interviews are going from bad to worse. He should be happy for his daughter. His interviews are not making him look good in the public eye.

Interesting article. I think we have in Thomas a bad case of: "Why her and not someone else in the family?" Perhaps, he would benefit from reading your article on jealousy and envy. What greater love does a human parent has than to wish for their child happiness after that child is grown and out on her/his own?

Thomas may have contributed to the biological, even the economic and social, but he is not paying her bills now and hasn't for a long time. Maybe Meg should calculate all of the financial support he thinks he gave her, write him a check, and tell him to go take a long walk off a short pier. Or at least, tell him to try Crazy Glue across his lips.

It's pathetic and heartbreaking at the same time. Jealousy. Jealousy. Jealousy. God please heal the heart of a small man.

      Great article.

      Sincerely,

      Tim
