Creepshow is a comic book about scary things. In the film, a cartoon freak sells some of these comics to a young boy. In between all of this, the three Creepshow tales are told. Also, the cartoon boy has some punks to deal with himself. Creepshow style.
The film is rated R, released in 1987 and written by Stephen King. It was produced by David Bell and directed by Michael Gornick. The music was provided by Les Reed and Rick Wakeman. The movie has a running time of 92 minutes and it brought in 14 million at the box office from a 3 million dollar budget.

Old Chief Woodenhead
A man and his wife own an old country store and they have an old wooden Indian displayed out front. Some thugs rob the old man and his wife and they end up killing them. The wooden Indian comes to life and one by one gets revenge on the three criminals that killed his owner. The first perpetrator gets shot in the head with an arrow while watching television at his home. The second thug gets chopped up with a tomahawk in his garage. The third criminal gets scalped in his home by Chief Wooden Head's knife.
Fear Factor: It wasn't one of the scariest films ever but, it had scary music and the wooden Indian stalking his prey was a little spooky. The kills that the Indian executed were pretty violent especially the scalping.
Feel The Wrath of The Raft
A group of four girls and guys go to a remote lake for a swim. When they arrive at the water they see a pier in the center of the water. The group swims out to the pier but, they quickly get stuck when they see a slimy blob circling around them.
The first girl swimmer puts her hand out to touch the slimy, gross blob and eat covers her up and she falls into it.
The second victim, a guy, gets the slime latched onto him through the cracks in the wood of the raft and got pulled in.
The third victim, a girl, is asleep on the raft and gets the oil spill looking thing hooked onto her face.
The fourth and the final remaining swimmer took off and jumped into the water heading for shore. He actually made it to land and beat the blob but, like an idiot he stood at the bank and taunted it. The blob suddenly leaped up and swallowed the man whole and brought him back into the lake.
Fear Factor: The Raft wasn't scary and had no real drama other than the final kill while the guy was on land which was a slight surprise. On the other hand, when the first death occurred it made you wonder what was fate of the remaining three.
Thanks For The Ride Lady
Creepshow 2 Original Trailer (1987)
A woman mistakenly runs over a hitchhiker with her car. Instead of stopping to help the stricken man, she speeds off. One problem. Every exit she takes and road she turns on she sees the hitchhiker she hit with her automobile. She ends up getting ran off the road herself and barely makes it home after running over this freakazoid several more times. Once she enters her garage in her car the dead hitchhiker appears and the lady dies seemingly of a heart attack.
Fear Factor: The Hitchhiker is slightly predictable but, it does provide several jump scares out of the blue to keep the fear fest going. Every time the woman goes one way the dead man pops up at her window, her back seat and from under the car.

Creepshow 2.... Final Thoughts and Final Grade
The first story is "Old Chief Wooden Head". Personally, it's my favorite of the three. It goes in some detail facts about the old couple and their life. The three robbers that came all paid the price as the Wooden Statue came to life. It actually painted it's face and tracked each of the three guys one at a time and it was an awesome show. I would give this show a Grade: A-.
The second story is "The Raft". In this show the four swimmers get stuck on a wooden raft and can't leave because of a human eating swamp thing. It gets pretty intense as you watch each of the four get mowed down one by one. I would give this show a Grade: B-.
The final story is "The Hitchhiker". The driver accidentally hits a pedestrian and continues to see him constantly as she drives along the freeway. It has some drama as it makes you wonder if the lady will make it out alive. I would give this movie a Grade: B.
Finally, I would recommend the film as it is a classic 80s horror film. Of the three Creepshow movies this, in my opinion, is simply the best and most gruesome.
Overall Grade: B+
