18 Hollywood Celebrities Who Have Never Divorced
Stop and think: How many Hollywood actors or actresses can you think of who have been married only one time and who have remained in those marriages for over 15 years? Steve Carell (since 1995)
Funnyman Steve Carell met his wife, Nancy, when he was teaching an improv class with The Second City, a well-known comedy troupe based in Chicago, IL. The two married in 1995 and have had two children. Interestingly, Steve and Nancy worked together on the TV series The Office, where Steve starred for seven seasons as the eccentric and insecure boss, Michael Scott. Nancy played Michael Scott's realtor-turned-girlfriend in several episodes.
Lisa Kudrow (since 1995)
Lisa Kudrow is best known for her work on the long-running television show, Friends, but she has also starred in movies, including Romy and Michele's High School Reunion in 1997, and Analyze This in 1999. Ms. Kudrow married Michel Stern, an advertising executive, in May of 1995. The couple has one child. Glamour.com magazine quotes Kudrow regarding her marriage, saying, "When [Michel and I] decided to get married, we understood: We're not promising to love each other forever, because you can't do that, but we are promising to work on whatever problems come up. We're committed to our marriage working. It turns out, after you have a history, there's such a bond, and love takes another shape."

Elisabeth Shue had already had some major film roles when she met Davis Guggenheim, who was just starting out as a director, in 1989. The couple married five years later. They are still together after 18 years and have three children.
Married Since The '80s
Lea Thompson (1989)
When director Howard Deutch offered Lea Thompson a role in his movie, Some Kind Of Wonderful, she initially refused the offer. He made the offer again (via Eric Stoltz, the leading man in the movie). Jamie Lee Curtis/Christopher Guest (since 1984)
Jamie Lee Curtis saw Christopher Guest in a promotional photo for the 1984 movie This Is Spinal Tap in a Rolling Stone magazine. She was interested, so she gave her phone number to his agent. It must've worked out for them, because they married in December of 1984 and later adopted two children. Fun fact: Christopher Guest and Jamie Lee Curtis are formally known as the Baron and Baroness Haden-Guest of Saling in the County of Essex; Christopher Guest inherited the barony in 1996.

Married Before The '80s
Meryl Streep (since 1978)
According to this article, Meryl Streep met her future husband, Don Gummer, by accident; Mr. Gummer was her brother's friend, and Ms. Streep was staying at Mr. Gummer's apartment while he was out of the country. He came back to the country earlier than expected, and the two fell in love. The article speculates that having an "ordinary" person as a spouse may help add longevity to a celebrity's marriage. That may or may not be the case in general, but it certainly hasn't hurt for these two, who have been married since 1978.
Christopher Walken (since 1969)
Christopher Walken has been married to his wife, Georgianne, since 1969. Ms. Walken is a casting director, and the pair met in 1963 when they were both part of a theater production of the musical, West Side Story. The couple has been married since 1969.
