Movie review: One for the money
Here is another book turned into a movie, One for the Money, by Janet Evanovich. I don't know how many of you have read her books but some of her books are well written. Well, when I checked out the movie One for the Money, I thought it was an okay job.
Here is a short summary of what it is about. Stephanie Plum is newly divorced, has been laid off of her job and needs some money to pay for her expenses. She decides to take a job at her cousin's place at a bail bond office. One person that she has to find is an ex-flame who was a good cop and he skipped his court date. She decides to look for him and finds out he is after some information himself. She starts to catch the attention of some criminals by trying to get information. Everyone she gets into contact with ends up getting hurt or dying. In this one case, the officer that she has to look for asks for her help. She decides to help him. They find out who is behind what has been happening and when Stephanie finally kills the main bad guy, she leaves Joe Morelli handcuffed in the back of the semi truck because she is going to take him to the authorities for fifty thousand dollars. After she drops him off, a day or so after she hears a knock on the door, and sees that it is Joe Morelli and he is holding a cupcake.
This is an okay movie, it wasn't the best movie but it kept my attention for the most part. The actors did a good job in acting. It did have its funny parts and at times its serious parts. What did you think of this movie if you have already seen it? Do you think that it was worth making the book into a movie?
