Do you like suspense and some serious drama in the movie where you have no clue about anything up until the end? Since you have found this page, I would presume that you have taste for disturbing mind-bending movies like Se7en. You have landed on a perfect place. Take a look at the list I've compiled.

The Last Horror Movie (2003)

Watching this film will make you feel like maybe, just maybe, you should check if your door are properly locked and there is no one lurking around in the dark corners. Kevin Howarth plays as Max Parry, an intelligent and ruthless serial killer in this haunting flick, which is guaranteed to terrorize you.

American Psycho - One Of The Best Movies Like Se7en

Some people may argue that original Psycho movie released back in 1960s should be here instead of this one. Granted, it’s a great movie, but it can’t be on this list. Poor Norman was not a true serial killer.

Partick Bateman of American Psycho, though, loves to murder anyone who comes even remotely close to hurting his ego. You could say that he murders anyone he ever comes across. The worst part is, he appears cool, calm and sophisticated on the surface. But beneath that perfect looking body, there lies a true beast adamant on killing those who bother him or make him feel insecure. What could be scarier than that?

Directed by Mary Harron, this film is everything you look for in a serial killer movie. The ending will leave you wondering as to whether all of what happened was only his imagination? But that’s up to you to decide. Love him or hate him, you are going to remember this character for a long time.

From Hell

From Hell is a kind of movie that will be stuck in your mind for days to come. It’s surprisingly dark and moody at times. Based on the story of Jack The Ripper, From Hell is surely going to leave the image of old Whitechasple in your mind. From the gruesome murder scenes to the quiet moments when nothing is happening on the screen, you are going to love it all.

If you are looking for an action movie, though, it’s not going to be a good experience. From Hell will be a boring movie if action-packed sequences is all you want. On the other hand, if you can appreciate some truly convincing acting in a slow-burn movie, this might be the movie you are looking for. Johny Depp has done some unbelievable work playing as a serial killer. If not for anything else, watch this movie just to see his work.

The Boston Strangler

Based on the true story of the Boston Strangler, this movie tells a story of a maniac who has killed about 12 women around Boston. And that's all I a telling you about the plot.

I must say that Tony Curtis is amazing and convincing in the role of the strangler. He has pulled off a tricky role so easily. The whole movie, especially the last half hour, is an exciting ride. The last couple of minutes are his confessions, but it’s riveting nonetheless. You will understand why he did what he did, and it’s not pleasing to hear. If you are looking for some moody and dark movies like Se7en, The Boston Strangler should be your best bet.

Suspect Zero

If you haven’t seen this movie yet, just go and watch it on Netflix right now, then come back to read more about it. I wouldn’t dare spoil anything for you, so I am skipping all the plot details. Here is something to whet your appetite a bit more - It’s a movie about a serial killer killing other serial killers, but there is much more to it than what appears on the surface. He is one of the smoothest killers you’ll ever see in a movie. So if you are looking for some movies like Se7en, this should be your best pick.

The Silence Of Lambs

I have been a big fan of thrillers all my life. I have watched way too many of them, but nothing comes close to the sheer awesomeness of The Silence Of Lambs.

The plot revolves around Hannibal Lector, a Physiatrist, who is locked behind the bars for various acts of cannibalism and murder. He might have some insight into a serial murder case, but it's dangerous to go near that beast as he can mess up anyone's mind with his sharp wits. Who is going to risk becoming the bait to draw him out? And will a serial killer help find another serial killer?

The Riverman – One Of The Best Slow Burning Movies Like Se7en

The whole movie is a story of Ted Bundy, a real life serial killer who murdered numerous women in America during the 70s. Cary Elwes, who looked a lot like Ted, has done an amazing job of portraying his character on the screen.

Have you ever been curious about what goes inside a serial killer’s mind? If the answer is yes you are definitely going got like this short flick. Although, it feels like a documentary more than a movie for most of the part, there is still enough material to keep you intrigued throughout this slow-burning experience.

I Saw The Devil

The plot revolves around a special agent adamant on finding the serial killer responsible for brutally murdering his pregnant fiancée. In his pursuit, he blurs the line between good and evil and becomes a monster himself. This movie is going to make you question if his actions are justifiable. Has he gone too far? Just watch the movie and decide for yourself.

Mr Brooks

Mr. Brooks is story about a loving husband and father who harbors some really dark secrets of violence and mayhem. He has been trying hard to let go of his habit of killing people without any reason, but his alter ego has been pushing him to kill again. This is all I can give you without spoiling much. Anything else I will say will ruin the fun.
