Music Over 40: A lyrical quiz spanning 50 years of rock and roll

A fun little quiz to pass the time

Music and lyrics. Lyrics and music. They go together like peanut butter and jelly, Smith and Wesson and death and taxes. We love our favorite songs. We sing along to them on the radio. But how easy is it to pick out song lyrics without the musical bed underneath

Here is a 25 song lyrical quiz. All of the songs are fairly well known. There are no obscure tracks or bands. The genres cover a fairly wide range. The songs range from the late 60's to the mid 00's. How many lyrics can you match with their respective songs without consulting the almighty google
