Must Have Movies Of 2011

Updated on October 22, 2011

When it comes to movies in a series, 2011 has some impressive titles to boast. Of course the two biggest, in my humble opinion, would be: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and Pirates Of The Caribbean 4.

But there are quite a few continuing titles that came out this year. So if you are like me and pretty much have to watch a movie that you've seen the others in the series, here are some of the big ones that topped off 2011.

Titles To Choose From:

Big Titles:

  • Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1
  • Scream 4
  • Scary Movie 5
  • Cars 2
  • Transformers 3
  • Underworld 4
  • Saw 8
  • Pirates of The Caribbean 4
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
  • The Howling Reborn

While there are obviously many others that have and are still scheduled to hit the big screen in 2011, these were some of the most note-worthy due to their popularity.

Fans of many series' will be, and have been, pleased by these. I know I was absolutely thrilled to see a new Howling, and of course Pirates and Happy Potter. We pretty much knew another Saw was coming, they just can't let that one go, and Twilight is huge!

With so many awesome titles to choose from this year we are all gonna have plenty to do!

Old Favorites Come Back...

Keep an eye out for your favorite movie to return. It does seem a little like Hollywood has run out of ideas so they are either making remakes of everything or creating sequels.

In a lot of these cases I dare not complain. Like I mentioned; I'm ecstatic to have the Howling series start back up, (I love werewolves) and can't get enough of Captain Jack and his insane antics.

However, sometimes they also ruin great movies with sequels and then it makes you wish that they would just leave the classics alone. Like when they made a sequel to The Lost Boys! Seriously "The Tribe" sucked! And not in a good vampire way either! It was terrible, but the first one was epic.

So sometimes they need not resurrect a great title just because it was big once.

If you're going to change it around to where the original is so far gone that new comers have no idea that there even was a first movie, then just leave it alone because you have no business touching it!
