My Cat from Hell is a reality TV show that airs on Animal Planet. I have watched many episodes and have admired the way cats in trauma, and behavioral problems are treated and brought back to being normal and happy cats.

Cats can have problems too just like we human beings. They need extra care and affection when they are in mental turmoil and do not know what to do or what just happened to them.

Jackson Galaxy - Therapist to Troubled Cats

My Cat From Hell features couples who have a difficult time with their pet cats. Jackson Galaxy is a cat behaviorist who loves cats and knows all about cats.

He knows just what to do to make things okay. The way he deals with cat issues is amazing. He is well versed in the cat language. Jackson Galaxy communicates with cats that have behavioral problems and works to solve them just as though he were a cat himself!

A Great TV Show for Cat Lovers

I have watched many episodes of My Cat From Hell. Jackson Galaxy first visits the couple and listens to the problems that they have with their cat. After getting an idea of what is going on, he gently interacts with the cat and gauges how the cat reacts.

Jackson Galaxy comes up with a plan to help out the troubled cat. He shows what is to be done to overcome the problem. He shows them how they should handle the cat, what to do when the cat reacts in a particular way and asks them to work diligently with their cat to help solve the problem. He also lets them know when he will be coming back to visit them.

When he goes for his second visit, he asks the couple about any improvements that they noticed and how the cat was interacting with them. He checks whether the couple had followed all his instructions.

The cat slowly but surely gets better under Jackson Galaxy's expert guidance.

Why "My Cat From Hell" is worth watching?

"My Cat From Hell" is a TV show worth watching. It is great to see how Jackson Galaxy helps out the both the cat and the couple to co-exist in peace and harmony. He does not give up on any cat; however, bad the cat behaves.

In my view, Jackson Galaxy speaks the language of the cats and communicates with them and gets to know what is exactly going on in their minds.

He suggests changes in how the couple handles the cat, feeds the cat and how they talk to them. Jackson Galaxy also recommends changes that the couple can make to make the cat feel more at home.

People who have cats can learn a lot from My Cat From Hell.

More about My Cat from Hell

In one of the episodes that I watched one of the couples did not like the cat and the other was not willing to part with the cat. Jackson Galaxy steps in and smooths things out so much so that the person who hated cats starts liking and caring for the cat.

In another episode, Jackson Galaxy asks the couple to build cat perches and a catio in their home so that the cat can feel comfortable.

These are just examples there are many more valuable suggestions that Jackson Galaxy provides to help the cat out. The most important point to note is that he never gives up on a cat. His true love for cats shows in all his words and actions.

"My Cat from Hell" on Animal Planet is one reality TV show that is worth watching. I give this program a double thumbs up and will recommend it as a TV show to watch, learn and enjoy.

I've never seen the show, but it sounds like it would be great for anyone owning a cat. I am allergic to all animal dander so I can't have one. sigh..When I was a kid we always had a cat, his name was Kot, spoiled rotton...

I have and do watch it. I have 2 total indoor cats, 2 indoor/outdoor cats, and 1 outdoor cat. Now there two that are indoor/outdoor cats will corner the outdoor cat when he is eating. The one indoor/outdoor cats, she doesn't get along with anyone. The outdoor cat is a male, and poor thing he always gets cornered. I try to keep the two girls in until he is done eating, but man they are such bullies to him.

Wonderful review of this interesting program. I may have to find it and watch it. George, our cat can be pretty wild at times LOL, but he is a sweetie. He and Max (our chocolate Lab) are friends and it is funny to watch them playing on our back deck!

Your title really drew me in as I thought you were talking about your own cat LOL.

This sounds a show to watch - I haven't got cats but my daughter has two, we all adore them. I've heard of dogs with behavioural problems being helped but the cat really amazed me. Although we love and spoil them they have such an independent streak.

My old cat would have been great on an episode. He was loving to my hubby and me but hateful to others. I will have to catch this show some time. Thanks for bringing it to awareness.

I don't think we have that TV program, but it sounds interesting. We had a cat once that followed us everywhere - even (when we were't looking) down the street and across a busy road to church, where he'd find us, sit under the seat through the service and then follow us back home again!

Vellur...I positively adore Jackson. Watch "My Cat From Hell," as often as possible. I am always so blown away at his cat knowledge and the success he has with wayward kitties.

I swear Jackson was a cat in his former life. He's amazing. To be able to come up with solutions for a cat is FAR more complex than working with dog issues!...UP +++U&I.....tweeted.

Jackson really does have a way with felines and their owners too. I have never had a cat with a behavioral problem as severe as the ones that are usually featured on the show but have had my share of cats who are more than a little crazy! I always thought it was part of their charm.

I think it is pretty amazing how much success he seems to have in helping these people tame, rehabilitate, and nurture their problem kitties. I think has saved more than a few from being abandon or euthanized. Great hub and a very nice overview/introduction to a useful show for cat owners. Thumbs up!
