My Favorite Sunrise and Sunset Photos of Pennsylvania
I was born and grew up in Finland and been lucky to able to travel quite a bit around Europe and North America before settling down with my children in Honesdale Pennsylvania. Honesdale is a small town in North Eastern PA close to New York border.
I believe I live in the most beautiful place in the Earth for me. We have all the seasons, I have big yard and the most magnificent view of the sunsets right from my porch. I have always loved photography and this place has turned my hobby almost to an obsession. Countless times I find myself running through the fields to find just the right spot to capture the awesome displays of sky around us in different time of year.
I love the morning fog and sun rising to turn it into a haze. I love the evenings in the summer when I can smell the freshly cut hay and see the sky turning into a reddish display calling the day to end. I love cold winter eves when the sky will really explode to amazing art display. I never get tired of looking the sky around me and even while zooming into same landscape it is a different view each and every day. As you can see many of my sunsets display windmills behind them. To me those are beautiful addition to the skyline showing what people can do while creating safer energy and still keeping the integrity and beauty of the skyline.
I feel blessed being able to live here with my 5 kids and my wonderful man and I will expand my sunset galleries every month. Now it is time for cool crisp fall evenings, falling leaves, and yes, more amazing sunsets and sunrises!
This is a small glimpse of my favorite photos, some of them are digitally enhanced to show it little closer to the actual view of the sky. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy living here!
