I love anime and have been watching it for a long time. I enjoy the genres of Slice of life, Romance & Supernatural.

Anime popularity has been rising steadily over the years across the globe. With so many anime debuting every year, the list of top anime is constantly changing.

This list compiles my top ten anime series of all time. The ranking is done based on storyline, animation, dialogue, and various other factors. Also, note that this list only comprises anime with less than 30 episodes in each of its seasons (if any).

1. Your Lie in April

Arima Kousei was an exemplary pianist until he loses the ability to hear the piano's notes after his mother's sudden death. Then he meets Kaori Miyazono, a violinist who changes his perspective on life. Packed with beautiful animation and a captivating storyline, this will leave you with mixed emotions at the end.

2. WorldEnd (Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu Ka?)

WorldEnd is a heart-touching anime about angels who are trained to be weapons and not feel any pain. We fall in love with the main character, a battle angel named Chtholly, as she sacrifices her life for someone else's happiness. This is a psychological romance anime that will leave you in tears.

3. Violet Evergarden

As the continent of Telesis recovers from a great war, an ex-soldier Violet Evergarden gets a job at a postal company as a ghostwriter to help those who cannot write letters. This is a coming-of-age anime based on a light novel of the same name. Packed with beautiful dialogues, scenery, and emotions, this anime makes a must-watch for every otaku.

Source

Hitomi Tsukishiro lives a monochromatic and emotionless life, devoid of any friends. Her grandmother, the great witch Kohaku send her to the past year of 2018, where she encounters a boy whose drawings show her colours for the very first time. Filled with lush backgrounds and a relaxing setting, I would recommend this original coming-of-age fantasy anime to everyone who wants to experience more.

6. Clannad and Clannad: After Story

Clannad and Clannad: After Story (the sequel) is a tragedy and romance anime that will leave the viewer experience a rollercoaster of emotions.
