Narcos - A review
What entices a person in a TV show is the subject matter which withholds it. For some, it is comedy, for some, it is the thrill, for some, it is the glamour etc. And among such subjects, "crime" has carved a niche so strong that it cannot be avoided and to do so would mean doing it at an expense of some worthwhile entertainment. And corroborating this theory is the TV show "Narcos."
"Narcos" is basically a show which revolves around the life of the notorious drug dealer "Pablo Escobar." The show focuses on the transition of his role as a smuggler to a drug dealer and how a unresourceful task-force tries hard to capture him. The way each episode is narrated, the way the plot slowly unravels, and the way intricacies are dealt with, clearly shout out that this show is way beyond amazing. Even though, sometimes, subtitles for the Spanish part may irk one but they're bearable. Wagner Moura has done well to adopt perfectly the role of Pablo Escobar.
History is part of life. We learn it in childhood, delve into it in teenage and live it in adulthood. "Narcos" brings out a part of history to live for and its worth it. You won't regret watching it. You'll enjoy every tiny speck of this brilliantly filmed show. Give it a go. Feel free to drop in a comment and participate in the poll below.
