Netflix Instant Watch List

Updated on October 21, 2016

Picking out new additions for my Netflix Instant Watch "To Do" list has been a stressful experience lately. Not to say that I'm a big movie critique, but the amount of options coupled with my indecisiveness has taken a toll on my decision making abilities.

I am addicted to staying up late and munching down popcorn while marathoning movies but lately the time it takes me to decide what to watch is like a black cloud, raining on my movie parade and I am looking for some recommendations. Here are my most recent additions in no particular order:

TV Shows

  1. 24
  2. Damages
  3. The Office
  4. Parks and Recreation
  5. 30 Rock

Movies

  1. Iron Man 2
  2. Shutter Island
  3. The Big Lebowski
  4. Benjamin Button
  5. Defiance
  6. The Constant Gardner
  7. The Other Guys

Documentaries

  1. Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead

As you can seen, I don't have a particular genre and my interests are across the board. I just want something thats going to keep my glued to the tube. So what do you say fellow Netflixer's? If you could be so gracious, I am accepting any recommendations on what to add or remove from my queue.

Update Numero Uno

Damages is pretty awesome so far. I'm closing in on the finale of season 1. I am hooked. I will keep you posted.

Whats better for a late night movie?

I'm not on netflix right now. I was a little upset with them. They plan on changing the price and charging 60% more for instant view and mail order movies so I closed my account. Maybe by winter we will join again.

      Good Hub.

I have watched 4,883 movies from Netflix so far. Your choices look solid. I can recommend "The prisoner of shark island" "jesus of nazareth" "the case for faith" "god of wonders" "the greatest story ever told" "return with honor: american experience" "bluegrass journey" "directed by john ford" "narnia: the voyage of the dawm treader" "dinner at eight" "imax: hubble" "media malpractice" "i want your money" "generation RX" "lillian russell" "cheaper by the dozen" "true grit (old version)" "true grit (new version)" "a shine of rainbows" "spencer's mountain" "the better hour" "what if . . ." "mogambo" and "black beauty (1994 version)"

These are all the ones I have given Five Stars in the last 90 days. Happy Hunting!

I don't know if you like foreign films but "Lust, Caution" and "Ip man" and "Ip Man 2" are really great films. I guarantee you will enjoy them!

I couldn't answer your poll because for me it is different on different nights - sometimes I'm in the mood for a comedy, other nights an action and so on.

My internet connection is a little bit flaky, so instead of netflix I use zip.ca.

You sound just like me! All though, my queue is packed full of movies I want to watch; I just can't ever decide which one to watch and then it gets too late and I don't have time any more.. It's awful.

But, I do recommend a good foreign flick, comedy or documentary. I love ones with Audrey Tautou. :]
