PORTABLE KEYBOARD; The world's 'Best' Williams Encore Digital Piano Keyboard in action.
The Encore is not a dream.
More for your money despite the economic crunch.
The Williams Encore Digital Piano is a Portable Keyboard and even though it is not as light as keyboards from other brand but the sound is superb. The Encore features 88 full-size Hammer-Action Weighted keys (which is the main reason behind for its heavier weight) with adjustable touch response. The adjustable response has 4 different touch-sensitivity setting, allowing musicians to select the feel that they enjoy playing. The robust sound system encompassed 30 voices, 32-note Polyphony, metronome, Effects; reverb and chorus. The Encore also comes with LCD display screen, 58 play-along practice songs, built-in amplified speaker, MIDI, sustain pedal, pitch-bend and modulation wheels and headphone jack.
Though there are not many sounds available in the Encore but the feel of the action keys is very close to a twenty over years old grand acoustic piano. The excellent feel of the action keys does not put me in the mind of playing a less expensive keyboard. The Encore has dual functions, it can functions as a midi controller or just plain digital piano. With the pitch-bend and modulation wheels included in the package, it is great to have for a midi controller. However, it may not be practical as a gigging keyboard due to its weight but it is a good value for the price.
The Williams Encore is a very refreshing keyboard. It is truly focused on
getting the job done...a very simple user interface, and it features 30 voices
and recorder. The simple design lead to an amazing on and off stage experience.
I can’t imagine needing anything else. Real piano feel for a real deal. The
Encore is the best for the price. The best feel and touch from the lower price
models and some of the higher price models too. The Encore’s nice feel and pretty
good tone is a perfect portable digital piano keyboard for beginners and
musicians. Check it out, cheers!
