Painting A Life With Songs?

Updated on April 6, 2010

We all have a song or melody that reaches out and penetrates deep into our minds. It is sometimes so effective that you are almost sure that the composer wrote it just for you---alone. You find yourself humming or sing the words over and over at the oddest times---WHY?

Maybe it was a place where you were or maybe it was a special person that entered or exited your life. Yet, it could be a mystery of what is yet to come? Still we seem to hold on to those threads that the artist sang and painted into our mind just for us---alone.

This made me think of how our LIVES or a SONG and can simply be painted and framed, then placed on that universe---WALL.

: I will attempt to show a few examples of what paintings are hung in my gallery.

"Cause my ba-by he done lef dis town"
"Cause my ba-by he done lef dis town"
"The morning fog---may chill the air, I don't care."
"The morning fog---may chill the air, I don't care."
"Make the world go away and get it off my shoulder. Say the things you used to say and make the world ---go away."
"Make the world go away and get it off my shoulder. Say the things you used to say and make the world ---go away."
"I'll be there before the next teardrop falls."
"I'll be there before the next teardrop falls."

(EACH LIFE IS A PAINTING THAT IS HUNG IN A GREAT GALLERY)

So glad I came across this one. I agree about songs speaking right to us. I love the by-lines you gave each "new" picture.

Thanks Jo,you are the real artist in this family and taught me so much.

Tim thanks,as they say paintings are worth a thousand words.

Feline,I think songs are written about life, they simply tell a story and a painting can say it without words, yet each is remembered in its own way.

AHA YOUNG-UN--this is all your fault! Your digital art blew me away and I had to learn some of it---you keep me YOUNG. Now lets see some of YOUR LIFE paintings?
