An "Evening with Champions" is an annual benefit figure skating show in October hosted by Eliot House of Harvard University. The show has a mix of young promising skaters and famous champions. In the recent years Paul Wylie has hosted the show. All profits go to the Jimmy Fund, which is dedicated to pediatric cancer research and treatment and affilated with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
A visit at Children's Hospital in 1970 become an inspiration for the "Evening with Champions". A junior student at Harvard John Misha Petkevich met children being treated for leukemia. He and other students decided to help those kids with cancer and only few weeks later organized a show with nationally-ranked figure skaters. It was the first "Evening with champions".
