Raymond Deane's, Travail "Dawn of a New Day". An exciting conspiracy movie trailer that makes us think.

Updated on December 22, 2012

Watch the trailer. See the film. Then Think.

Sometimes conspiracy theorists may be right.

I am well known on this site, and throughout the internet, for taking the piss out of conspiracy theorists, and conspiracy theories. If you want someone to make you laugh at the notion that chemtrails are spreading deadly pollutants throughout our atmosphere, I’m the one to send for. The very idea that there is a secret society, which rules the world behind the scenes, has given me many hours of unbridled mirth. The same with the 9/11 conspiracies, and the Diana murder allegations. None of them wash with me.

Kennedy was killed by Oswald. Marilyn Monroe died from a self inflicted overdose. Jimmy Hoffa? I don’t know enough about him to comment either way. Perhaps he is buried under a flyover. Maybe he is sharing a field with Shergar. Do I care?

But whatever my opinions on conspiracies might be, I have to admit that they make for compelling drama, and whether we are striving to counter them, or seeking ways to promote them, they certainly are a very excellent way to provoke our grey cells into action, and to make us think about the nature of the world we live in, and whether everything that we have always slavishly believed in could be “the big lie”.

This afternoon my attention was drawn to the trailer of a new film. It was called Travail “Dawn of a New Day”. I watched it once, and then I watched it again.

My verdict on this trailer was that if its director, Raymond Deane, was not famous before, this movie will certainly make him famous now. Deservedly so.

The premise, on which the film is based, is that slavery has not ended yet for African Americans. They are still being kept in servitude. But it is of a different kind. No longer are they being whipped to work in the cotton fields. In this brave new twenty first century, their bondage is being enforced by the more subtle, but equally brutalizing, institutional racism they are subjected to.

In the film “The Matrix” we were all living in a kind of constructed reality. But we don’t know that we are being manipulated. In Travail “Dawn of a New Day” the modern day slaves are being kept under, by a mixture of an addiction to crime and drugs, allied with economic deprivation. The rage, that helps to keep them in eternal serfdom, is fostered by the lyrics of the Rap music that they all listen to. The Rap singers are, of course, controlled by the very same Illuminati elite that are dedicated to destroying all peace and cohesion in society.

Now, after typing all of the above, may I say that I do not believe it. What I said about my feelings on these matters in the first paragraph still stands. But it is a compelling notion. It could be true. The depiction of the decomposing effect of racism is one of the most vivid effects of this trailer. You see a man, who is a loving father in one scene, become a brutal psychopath in another, when his racial prejudices enter in. It can certainly be said that the trailer does not lack in violence. But it is all germane to the plot.

May I finish this review, by saying that there are not many “tasters” that make me want to rush out and see the movie. But this is one. I expect to finish watching it with steam coming out my ears. But whether this will be because I disagree with everything it says, or because I am filled with rage at the brutal manipulation going on in our society, I cannot say until I have watched it in its entirety.

What I will be saying, if the promise of the trailer is borne out, is that I have just watched one of the most exciting, and thought provoking movies ever; and one that will be talked about for many years to come.

The truth is in here

Discover some more hidden history

There is a continuing fascination with the Illuminati and their all pervasive influence on world affairs.

There was an organisation called the Illuminati, which was founded in Bavaria in the eighteenth century. This is not the sinister organisation that aims to gain ruler ship over the world.

Only very few people can reveal the true facts about this sinister “society above society”. I am one of those with full knowledge. No doubt you are wondering how deep my insight goes.

To find out read my latest e-book The Zombie, the Cat and Barack Obama. It tells the story of the brilliant pianist, but loathsome zombie, Julian Faversham and his attempted assassination of Barack Obama.

It contains information on the history and power of the Illuminati that is not detailed anywhere else.

There is also some fascinating, but very embarrassing, information about the ancestry of Barack Obama.

Osama bin Laden was not killed in the way we have been told either. Read the true account of his demise here.

There is a royal connection here also, (or at least a Buckingham Palace connection).

Thanks Bard of Ely, for your positive comments. It is not, in my book anyway, that we should disrespect someone just because we disagree with their opinions. It was a brilliant trailer, and it probably is a brilliant film, as well.

I was surprised to find you of all hubbers to be reviewing this film, Christopher, and even more surprised to find that you enjoyed the trailer so much! I have voted up and tagged this hub as awesome because it is!

I have to admit Nell, that I dont believe in conspiracies myself, and I doubt that I would agree with much in this film either. But I do feel that it should make for provacative viewing, and if the trailer is anything to go by, it should be very exciting.

Hi, Um. That's me thinking! lol I think this is a bad idea for a film, there is enough racism in the world without rocking the boat. I would love to know who came up with this idea? White supremists or a black? I think this would be much more believable if they made it more real. Racism goes both ways, every race seems to either hate one another or at least distrust one another. Africa still has slavery, but by their own people, as well as a few hundred years ago, the Arab countries had more slaves than the rest of us. Great review, but I think it would make me so mad for a number of reasons that I would throw something at the screen! lol

It's definitely true Dusty, what you say about politicians. I have never yet heard of any top one, who left office poorer than when he/she came in.

Christopher, the trailer was interesting and like you I'm not swallowed or hypnotized by the host of conspiracy theories.

We have seen the actions of our government BATFE, now just the ATFE that is running the controls[Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives] that hit the news with their "Fast and Furious" episode that has revealed a conspiracy and cover up as to how high up it actually goes and by many it is the Oval office as well as Eric Holder, our national prosecutions who denied the big finger pointing at him for ignoring his and obama's knowledge of a bad idea resulting in untold killings, the one most notable was a border patrol agent who nay not have known the folks he faced were armed perhaps better than he was. I see it more like a serious fopa that is/was a crime committed against we the people of the border states first then I expect to see a few turn up in the heart lands of America. Another attack by terrorists that a profitable base is the better call is "crime vs conspiracy". Crimes were the basis for our entry into WWI and WWII Ive yet to study Korea and what tripped our "not a war, war" trigger to get public support for our entrance, I look back and see that America had a bad habit of attacking it's self to get support to stick our Pinocchio nose into the fire that sets off a public that blindly follows our commitment to kill off the young men and sometimes women for revenge and gain for supplies of new equipment, bottom line to all is a money and power trip. I've yet to see a president leave office leave with empty pockets for their time in office. They cuss each other and then with a smile hug each other good bye. One just needs to look at the things Hillary said against obama in 2008 and then say good things now while holding office with the guy she assaulted as her boss. No conspiracy just a dog and pony show for the thick minded who vote party over need. no?

a very interesting topic that I need to watch the whole movie next,

      Pretty intense video clip!

I sort of think that anything that lends fear to something does that something a big favor.

      Thanks Dusty and Keith.

I dont believe in any of the conspiracy theories myself.

But I do think it will be a very exciting film to watch, and there might be an element of truth in it.

Come on now Christopher, you know the conspiracy theorists are right. LOl. sadly I believe them, mainly because I hate my American government. And hey, you told me Marilyn and Kennedy were still alive in South America somewhere, remember? I'm a ditsy blonde and I believed you. I know I will watch the movie and cringe at all my governments deceptions.

Hello mate. When you go off, you really go off. I watched a compelling doco the other night about some poor families in the UK from Leicester and Glasgow. Unemployment in those two areas is high and their living conditions were terrible. It wasn't about their race of course, but they were trapped in that cycle. There is an imbalance between the filthy rich and the poor but governments refuse to do much about and big business tunes out to it. race obviously does come into it, especially when it comes to ethnic minorities. Anyway this movie better be good now that you've gone Christopher rantin' about it. If I don't like it you can post the cost of the cinema ticket to me. But if I agree with your glittering review then I shall say, "he was right you know" as it's much cheaper. Cheers

Ah stirring the old pot of bane I C Christopher! A fine one to stir as I can see many falling in on it.

I'm with you, no conspiracy in reality, even though things are caused for a reason, they are up front and it's all in how one looks at them.

I just walked away, instant no problem. Now if everyone saw it that way and followed suit, what would happen then?

911 is not a secret conspiracy, it was done in broad daylight for all to see. It's all in how you see it. All of the shows on taking down big buildings on their own footprint and how hard it is to plan and pull off, are all lies or three buildings falling in that manner from jet strikes alone is a lie, take your pick it really can't be both. Or can it?

Great article that is you and I enjoy them, voted up, dust

      Hi there Petra.

It is The Cheshire cat who has all those adventures. The question is whether those factors you listed, as contributing to the "perpetual state of slavery", are just a natural part of the human existence, or are being imposed.

Perhaps this film can help to answer that.

Hard to believe Christopher that you, of all people, will doubt the power and thrill of conspiracy; what happened to the Illuminati and the magic cat – I forgot its name, but you know who I am talking about.

The idea of the movie sounds interesting and it has always been my suspicion that slavery is still going on, not just for the black people, but for many of us – economic slavery imposed by job insecurity and credit card debt, discriminatory slavery based on race, creed, gender and sexual preferences, intellectual slavery cause by a lack of education and by media manipulation, etc. –

Those are all factors that contribute to a perpetual state of slavery for the vast majority of people on the planet and whether the Illuminati or your Cat, the CIA or the space aliens are responsible for the disaster, it makes no difference
