Redding Wine Tasting?

Updated on July 9, 2011

Redding Wine Tasting

One would assume that you would have to go to Sonoma County for wine tasting, but not any more. Vintners Cellar and Custom Winery offers wine tasting, live music on Friday nights and an opportunity to create your own wine in batches. At a basic price of about $7.00 a bottle, they even come with a custom label.

Wine tasting is merely $6.00 daily and Happy Hour is from 4:00 to 6:00 Tuesday thru Friday, and there is a special where their 2 for $20 deal gives you 2 glasses of wine and a international cheese platter. The appetizers are half priced and there are sangria drink specials. Who could ask for more? The ambiance is wonderful and the employees are friendly and make sure your visit is a fun and relaxing one.

Their current offer is Christmas in July, where you can get 10% off all batches of wine during July( prices start at $7.00 a bottle) The batch includes a customized label that you can create on you own or pick from one of the many to choose from. Red, white, sweet or dry wines are your choices from grape juice from all over the world to give you just the right taste. Visit their web site for an excellent view of all they have to offer and prices for their custom batches.

The next Free live music is next Friday night, July 15 from 6:30 to 9:30 with Mark McAbee, who plays amiable, melodic rock. This is an every Friday night occurrence and the calender is available on their website so you can see who is playing on any particular night. Well worth the visit and a nice place to return to again and again.
